Use Caution When Shooting Your AK-308

Wasn’t even Florida Man.

Hold my beer, watch this.

I once shot, what I thought was a small empty propane torch cylinder with a .38 that was laying in a creek bed. It was enough to pierce the cylinder and it started flying around the creekbed about 6'-8' high. I'm glad it didn't ignite.

I once shot an "empty" can of safety orange spray paint with my pellet gun out in the pasture beside the house. Gramps was beyond PO'd to come home & see a 30' circle of bright orange in the pasture.

Also, there is an amazing amount of shave cream in a can of Barbasol when shot with a .30-06 at close range.

Aerosol cans are fun to shoot.......at a distance and when they are mostly empty.

It takes an absolute dumbass to shoot a full one from close up.

Nah you were safe. They won't ignite unless they are by an open flame when you shoot them. I have seen them violently rupture but that's pretty rare.

[In Paul Harrell voice]: "Let's see if we can put that to the test."

Lol, they won't. We even shot one with an incendiary round once and it didn't ignite. Not saying that would be the case every time with a flaming round but they are a lot harder to ignite than you'd think without an open flame.

Grandma sure as hell got mad when I'd bury "empty" aerosol cans in the burn barrel.

That can of Aqua Net lifted off like it was on the launch pad at Cape Canaveral. Never seen her run so fast in my life. I'da got away with it too, if I hadn't been laughing so hard.

We once shot a 4 foot tall propane tank that was over half full. Good crowd so let's see what this'll do!? I was about 50 yards away and shot it with an AP round...………...PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT....nothin'. The Lord looks after iggits!!!

On a large camping Jamboree with the Boy Scouts many years ago, a couple of misunderstood youths snuck over to where the bonfire was going to be held that night. These youths hid 3 cans of pork n beans in the fire pit, the wood was already arranged and ready to light. Later that night as the ceremony was going on the beans started exploding.
Turns out, one guy that we didn't like very well caught a bean to the neck. He had a perfect imprint of a bean burned into his neck. That was the only injury but there was bean shrapnel everywhere. The two youths were never suspected.

I shot a full oxygen tank one time with a mosin. It was awesome. My dad accidentally put a camp size propane tank in a fire once. He set back with a cold one about the time it got hot enough to burst. He flipped out of his chair and took off running. Once the fire died down he realized what had happened.

Hahaha!!! Knew you was my kinda people.

We left an almost full can of yellow paint laying beside a lb of tannerite while reseting some rifle targets awhile back. That was a massive fireball!!

I coulda taught Boyd Crowder a few things.

That was chemistry class for me. Got suspended for a week for setting my lab partner on fire. Lol!

Our Scouting shenanigans were centered more around getting high & nippin' on a bottle, to more fully appreciate nature. Handful of us snuck outta summer camp one year & hitch hiked into town to buy smokes & beer. Hitched a ride back & spent the rest of the afternoon chillin' in the woods & gettin' a little buzzed.
