Again I'm not sure this isn't some fake but it was posted by on of my buddy's that is a big car guy. If it's true this is a horrible design.

There are supposed to be 2 versions of the Bronco coming out. I think (or at least hope) that this is the “Sport” version which is supposed to be akin to the Bronco II.

It does say sport. Hopefully it is really different and you don't have to buy a raptor style upgrade package to get one that looks good.

Sadly it doesn’t look photoshopped. That’s a far cry from what enthusiasts want but auto mfgs don’t really care about enthusiasts.

It looks like a polished 08-12 Ford Escape. That’s NOT a good thing.

I kind of like the two door model.

well, i do wonder who is the target demographic.
i'm guessing it is those who weren't born yet
when O. J. last rode in Cowlings' Bronco.

I missed a 68 Bronco and a 70 F100 short bed from a family friend my wife grew up with. Both one owners and under 20k miles each. Had been sitting for years in a barn in Michigan. Dad was a Ford employee and also had a cool 55 Mercury. Parents died and the daughter ended up selling a couple years ago. I told her for years I would come up and buy them anytime she was ready. It was rough finding out she sold them to her boss. It was really rough finding out how much she sold them for.

This was one of two that I built... This was a 77. The other was an uncut 73. I was hoping the new Bronco would carry a stronger resemblance so I could replace my slowly aging F150.

I have often wondered if there is a single production car of my time 90's to present that would even come close to being a cool barn find. The only one I can think of would be a firebird maybe. I always like this one but I haven't seen a great shape one in years and it's probably only me that liked it.

@Cowboy your not alone, a tastefully modded WS6 of that generation is a beautiful car.

As to the bronco, coming from someone that grew up with them in the family and building my own when I get my license. Ford flopped terribly if these are what we have been waiting for. The 2 door model looks especially terrible as the doors/front windows are not proportionate to the whole truck. It reminds me of an airport tug truck with a camper shell.

What I wanted to see...
removable top
4x4 only
v8 or diesel option
solid axles
manual options for windows/locks/transfer case etc
Just a bare bones 4x4 truck thats off road capable and wouldn't cost $40-50k

I’m disappointed on many levels if that’s the coming reality...

My guess is either fake or that could be the bronco II. Multiple differences. Namely, Bronco under camo has 6 lug axles

HA! I'll have some of what you're smoking if you thought Ford would actually build a car like that.

Seems like nobody is interested in making your dream truck.

nothing about this looks fake, accept it's an ugly design.

Ford is making two versions of the broncos a small one and a big one. Where I work we have been making parts for them. The blue one in the picture is supposed to be the baby bronco and the white one is the full sized one.

Looks like a pumped up Kia to me. IMO Chrysler is the only manufacturer that has come close to recreating the old cars that all of us old farts want now. And I have never liked Chrysler.
