Since the Governor’s order, a lot of businesses/places are closing(including churches). Since we aren’t able to have “church” tomorrow, our pastors are live-streaming the service on Facebook and on the website. If your church does not have any services tomorrow and you’d like to listen, here are the links. There will be a mornin service(10:15 am) and evening service(6 pm)

We don’t know how long this is going to last. My wife works at Baptist Hospital and the way the doctors talk, this is going to stick around for months and is only going to get worse before it gets better. As this pandemic spreads, it’s easy to get stressed or worried. Worried about getting the virus. Worried about relatives getting the virus. Worried about not have enough food. Worried about cleaning supplies, TP(don’t understand that one) or hand sanitizer.

Luke 12: 21-24 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!

I don’t have Facebook but was looking on my wife’s the other day and someone asked a generic question, “What are people doing to relieve anxiety during this pandemic?” The answers sort of surprised me. Some said getting out and being outdoors, some said exercise, some said keeping busy doing house stuff. But a lot said alcohol and prescription medication??? One person out of some 120-150 comments said that having Christian music playing in their home and vehicles all the time and focusing on Christ was the only thing getting them through it. I understand that everyone has their own way of relieving stress but the only true way that will satisfy is Jesus. He’s the only way to get real peace.

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:17-18
For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

This is a great song and very appropriate for what everyone is going through. No matter what, GOD IS IN CONTROL!!!
