A friend wants me to rebuild this. Could be 30 or 40 years old. Looks never fired.

Anyone replaced seals in one before?

Have the same one around here somewhere. Think mine still actually shoots.

I shot a lot of cans with the one I had ~100 years ago!

I have one of those around here somewhere. I also have some of those little darts for it.

That brings back memories!
My brother still has my .22 cal one from 37 years ago. I killed many a squirrel and rabbit with it. For entertainment on rainy days when mom was out we'd play BB gun wars in the house with aluminum foil balls. That pistol was great for lying behind the sofa and shooting them in the ankles. You couldn't aim a rifle, and it would stick out.

There used to be a guy online that made some really nice wood furniture for those to replace the plastic crap. I'd have to google it. There's also a ton of aftermarket parts for them too. Mine has an aftermarket oversize bolt that makes the action easier to operate - and a giant red dot. I bought it when I lived in Surprise, the effing pigeons would sit on a tiny ledge over the front door and they'd scare the crap out of me when I walked outside at night to walk the dog. A few thumps to their chests effectively stopped the behavior.

You killed poor defenseless birds? Oh my. I had a Crossman back in the day but mine used co2 cartridges. Mine disappeared because my evil step mother "thought" i was killing her beloved pigeons/doves. I called her Satan.

I raffed. That's a great visual of a man spazzing, birds flapping all around and a dog responding to the confusion.

I wish I still owned the 1377 I had in high school back in the late 70s. My brother and I would line up water filled steel soda cans on the fence at what seemed like 100' feet away. It was probably more like 50' That 1377 would put BB's right through those cans.

Still got mine, used it on a squirrel last spring. Never swapped seals, just oiled it before use. Ive had it since at least 93..paid 20 bucks for it off a buddy of mine. I had the stock they offered years ago, but mine didnt have the peep site in the box, so it was useless.
