I have this appears to be a scraper blade (CAT?), unused 46.25" x 11" x 1" with 3 mounting bolt holes 15" on center. Do you know what it might fit, or who could get me the info?
I assume it's an Abrasive Resistant (AR) steel, and can have it cut for free into steel targets, if I knew what it was I can probably sell it and get a few nice reactive steel targets.
Thoughts?

Looks like it may be a replacement edge piece for a dozer blade to me. On a lot of large equipment those pieces are wear items and are replaced as needed.

yup

I see conflicting info online about what it could be made of. I have seen AR400 mentioned, and then I’ve also seen 1055 steel, or other types of steel with different additives for wear resistance.
Let me know when you think about how much you want for it. I might be interested in it for an Anvil face and making some parts out of.

Replacement wear bar for a dozer or front end loader. Depending on the manufacturer it could be anything from plain steel to carbon steel. Clean the paint off of an edge and do a file test. If it just skates across it is hardened. If it digs in it is just steel.

Those dimensions I’d go with those saying cutter edge for a front end loader ... buy the bolt pattern and yellow paint for a small to medium CAT. Most of that stuff due to wear costs is from cheaper Chinese foundries and carbon steel (or occasionally boron steel).
