Whatcha' listening to?

Yes! A Les Paul is never the wrong guitar. Met a buddy at an open mic blues jam, when he burnt the house down with "Hey Joe" with a goldtop Les Paul & a wah pedal. I didn't usually drag my Les Paul Custom out to jams, but I was known to play "Hey Joe", "Red House" & "Foxy Lady" on a hot rodded Explorer at open mic jams or sitting in with friends' bands.

Love those girls! Awesomesauce right there.

I’ve played acoustic instruments since 1966. Never got that good, but I have a good ear. This might be some of the best picking of all three instruments, banjo, mandolin and flat top guitar I’ve ever heard at the same time.

I have a HUGE BLS beach ball from Ozzfest when they played years back. They released a bunch of them and people were hitting them around the crowd, as soon as I got close enough I snatched one let the air out of it and carried around the rest of the time. Book of Shadows was Zakk's best work.

I like a lot of BLS & Pride & Glory, but the one time I saw them, they sucked balls. "Thin Lizzy" & BLS opened for 'Priest a few years back in W-S & I was lookin' forward to seein' 'em. Abolutely unintelligible wall of garbage noise. Dunno if Zakk was just stoopid drunk again or what, but I sat out their set on the smoking deck.

Do you know Justin Reich?
He went to some shows around WS, was in some bands here and there
Anyway, he does a lot of the photography and videography for ZW/BLS
Actually the girl who cuts my hair did some make up for one of his videos that was shot locally

One of my students is a metal head, LOVES ZW. He told me about the song "Lost Prayer"...Dude, I bought the song and listen to it several times a week, love it. Im not big on his other stuff, doesnt do a ton for me (not discounting his skill, just the style), but that song rules

Don't know the name but would probably recognize him.

I'm the same way about his music, can't deny the talent but it's not my style. But the Book of Shadows stuff I do enjoy.
