Why do dogs like eating rabbit poop so much? Apparently have a few rabbits sneaking in my fence to eat grass. My flipping dog thinks jelly beans or something. If I wasn't in the city limits it would be on.

My wife saw the rabbits and said one was black?? I'm thinking domestic if true.

My dogs like deer berries too. We buy the best dog food we can find and they would literally rather eat a turd. Its insulting.

Deer, cats, rabbits, chickens, probably skunk, raccoons, opossums, if the dogs nose is in the grass she's getting yelled at, usually comes up chewing something. Never seen her eat horse manure. Rolls in every awful thing she can find too.

As my high school biology teacher put it, the worse it smells the more likely your dog is to eat it.

trivia: given the option, dogs like to align themselves north - south to take a dump.

We had a dog that loved Rabbit gumdrops.
He didn't understand that it gave him hook worm. Our other dog that never ate the gumdrops never got hook worm.
