.

I remember she was on a talk show when the host showed her a ad that said "look like Dolly Parton for only $29.95" the host asked her what she thought about it and she replied "I wish I had seen that ad before I spent all these thousands to look as trashy as I do " great sense of humor and remembering where she came from.

We get a book every month from Dolly Parton. We could definitely use more celebrities like her.

We get the imagination library books for my son. He loves it!

Reactions: Me.
When the fires did so much damage in Pigeon Forge a couple of years ago, she donated a whole buncha money to some small business owners that got burned out.

I remember seeing an interview with Ms. Parton once where the host alluded to her wealth and she said: "Well, thanks to one song I wrote, I'll never have to worry about money ever again in my life thank-you Whitney Houston..." :)

When my mom was still alive she signed us up for a Year's worth of free books through a Dolly Parton organization. That was almost three years ago and they still come once a month, my daughter absolutely loves getting them in the mail

That's her "Stairway to Heaven" Led Zeppelin's single biggest money maker.

I watched an interview of Dolly and they asked her what she considered her best accomplishment.
Without skipping a beat she answered her imagination library.
Not Dollywood, Porter Wagner, Gatlinburg, 9 to 5, My coat of many colors...none of that.
She loves reading to and giving books to kids. This is fun for her.
