Oooh. I was assigned 44, that's been my lucky number since 3rd grade. Why is it my lucky number? Because my mother bought me a shirt with 44 on it and somebody asked why I was wearing that number. I lied and told him it was my favorite number and my lucky number. Made him go away. I didn't want to be bothered so it seemed like maybe 44 was lucky. Been my number since.
