So, sometimes I have more time than things to do. I use one of my best training tools , my blue gun Glock, to reaffiarm my handgun "feels" and, just like anything else, the more you have it hands on, the more familiar and comfortable you are with it.

In doing some training and burning some time, I sometimes bounce Youtube videos. I ran across this guy going from video to video and, after listening to him for a few minutes, saw the value in what he was presenting.

I had never heard of him, his name is Mike Glover.

Check him out:

I heard Jerry Miculek say on a Gould Brothers YouTube video...if it feels good in your hand you're doing it wrong.

Interesting video.
You’ve all likely seen the Vogel grip video. It’s worth watching.
It really helped my grip.

The Vogel grip is what I adopted.

Glover has a similar setup but he tends to explain some of the mechanics better.

I like the hammer analogy. I like the position of the support hand and how he explains it.

Both instructors are very close. The purpose is to return back to home for a recovery/followup shot.

I will add Glover’s page of whom I follow. I like how explains things, without having to do live fire.

The thing I like about the Vogel grip, and I feel is better (for me) than the "hammer" style, is the pinching up into the beavertail.
I feel like I can apply more force to the grip and still maintain trigger control. It's a small detail, but it made a difference for me, also on strong hand only shots.
