Ordered a set if XRAY1 Enhanced day sughts for the new-to-me P229 Legion. For some reason, it had a #6 rear. Took it to the range yesterday and had to hold the top of the plates. A #8 rear should put it back where it's supposed to be.

Friday, five boxes of Hornady Black 6.5 Grendel, one ten round, and one 26 round 6.5 Grendel magazine, Strike Industries extended bolt catch, two M16A1 pistol grips, and an M16 magazine speed loader (spoon).

Today's haul......

Today's haul expanded..........

Using a discount Code from Brownells, I ordered two tubes of the Lubriplate grease that my retro AR10 was lubricated with from the factory, a five round C Products 6.5 Grendel magazine, and a ten pack of Brownells aluminum twenty round AR magazines

A Lee Breechlock Pro/4000. The Lee primer mangler/dropper (Not shown) is a disgrace, I never used it on my single stage press either. WIth a proper priming system it would be a tremendous value. I'll probably continue using my Frankford Arsenal hand primer. The rest, including the 3D printed bullet feeder work well.
For the volume of shooting I do I could not justify the $'s for a Dillon 550 or Lee Loadmaster. I gave serious consideration to a Lyman All American 8, which anecdotally their primer system is problematic as well.
I'll keep the single stage for brass press.

I have been unhappy with my primer tube/feeder on an RCBS Turret Press. I either do a hand primer method or just put a primer in one at a time by hand.

I finally received my 2-pack of Howard Leight electronic ear muffs.

I had planned to use these when shooting, but I might wear them around the house. Ain't nothing like the zero to 60 bark of a doberman when sees a cat in the backyard. Almost enough to stain undies.

Hi NKD,
How many rounds before it starts opening up?

I have probably 5k or less through mine.
I shoot it in matches that are almost always 200yrds and in, but probably 95% shots under 100 yards.
So can’t really answer that question. I have noticed no drop off at this point. But I only zero it with a 4x with 55gn and have never explored its ultimate accuracy capabilities.
My main concern for the role it plays is weight and how it swings/transitions.

So, sorry not much help on that.

Finally got the last of what I needed to setup my battle/comp belt. If the weather cooperates I’ll get to test it out at the range this weekend.

Actually this is very good info, you point out areas I had not considered.
I am building for outlaw matches, 2 gun matches and aspire to someday do a 3gun match at CGGR. I also am going to run a 1-4 LVPO.

Is this one? Took him in as a stray.

The chimes in the doorbell would ring when he barked.

Why are older gd's so dang into cuddling? It's super awesome.

Yeah, those do get that holy hell, ear piercing, bark lol. Wish I had room for the one we rescued last year.

My Tannerite is a talker but seldom hits full force bark level.

As he has gotten older. He still does "unknown" vehicle, person on the property "alert" like a champ. But now is starting to do "neighbors cat" and "neighbors are home" on occasion which is a new kind of dangit we are working on:rolleyes:
