Yep, first gun purchase I've made in a while. It looked cute and reviews are good. Well, showed it to Chicken Lady and now I don't have it anymore.:(:(

I've read about 9mm that has reduced recoil and good for short barrel guns. She has some issues with her hands now and figgered it might be worth looking into. Anybody have an opinion?

Now that's funny right there! :D

Try a box of Federal HST Micro 150gr. It shoots very politely out of +/- 3" barrels. On a cautionary note, reviews on performance are mixed, so draw your own conclusions. I found it quite satisfactory in my Hellcat and even in my G19 ... before I made a dramatic change in my thinking regarding ammo choices (but that's a different story and not relevant to your question).

I hope she enjoys the Hellcat as much as I am!

I have never fired one. I have put hands around one and pulled the trigger. It just doesn’t work for me as I think a lady with small hands might enjoy it better. There were pros and cons in the feel. My biggest take was the trigger and smallish clearance within the guard during a draw. The texture was good for gripping.

I have a Hellcat with a 1000 rounds down the pipe. I replaced the trigger guts with a Powder River kit and that made a big improvement. Trigger is now smooth and the reset is distinct. Recoil is a little stiffer than my m.2.0 Shield but not too bad. It is, for me, an absolutely great EDC.
