I don't wear mask a lot either. Always gloves, mask depending on my risk of getting sneezed or coughed on. I want to be exposed to trace amounts of virus if possible in hopes its enough to illicit immune response. I hedge my bets that someone 'breathing' few feet away is just the right amount.
In S.C. it was originally to unmask Klansmen.it’s not to conceal identity
wearing gloves gives little to no protection the gloves get contaminated and then you get contaminated when you remove them and again when/if you put them back on. In 1st responder class they spent a lot of time teaching how to remove surgical type gloves without contaminating yourself. if you touch your cell phone while wearing gloves your cell could be contaminated (along with anything else you touch)
most of the results appear to be about increases in crime with masks...
no doubt. I use disposable nitrile and follow the donning and removal protocols from wet lab days. Touching directly contaminated surfaces and then touching your mouth and/or nose is one of the absolute worst things to do with a respiratory pathogen like this as you are applying high dose directly to the tissue where they replicate. Ill be sticking with gloves.
Thanks JT just saw question and you handled it
The statute says nothing about intent or reason. It addresses result. Wearing a mask hides one's identity, regardless ones intent. Not a lawyer but.... it’s not to conceal identity. Sure you could still get hemmed up and have to pay a load of money. But free men do free .... stuff. Be a free man.
