Rem 1100 barrel seal..

Anyone use a generic barrel seal for a Rem 1100 and if so, which type? To order a Remington brand, they aren't terribly expensive but shipping is more than the seal.

Do you recall the brand? I had ordered a bunch from Amazon as well and they were to thin and didn't work.

take the old one to the hardware store and compare it with the o rings they have in stock

Actually, these are the exact ones I bought.

(4 Pack) Remington O-Ring Replacement Barrel Seals [OEM Graphite Coated] (Model 1100 12 GA, 11-87 12 Gauge)

Put above in your Amazon search - you get 4 for $9.99 and they work great in my 1100. I don't mind the price because they last a long time as I only replace them about once a year and I shoot a lot of clays.
