Has the flag gone up yet?

Anyone have details about either of these? Asking for a friend...

I looked on WXII & WFMY and there was nothing about it.

@Chdamn

I heard the gun shop in Stokesdale got hit last night. Messed the place up and stole a bunch of guns.

So that’s what all the sirens were. No mention of it in the news. And I left early this morning.

If it ain’t up yet it’s clipped on with hands at the standby if they’re robbing gun stores to arm themselves.

Please let me know when you hoist it.

I only heard second hand but the trading company in Rose Hill just outside of Wallace had someone who apparently cut through the roof to get in but ran away when the alarm starting going off. That’s about an hour southeast of Raleigh if anyone is wondering where in the world it is. They advertise hundreds of guns in stock on the radio locally.

Scuttlebutt is the thieves who hit both shops have been caught. They staked out another area shop, but were deterred by its lighting and lack of easy access.

Exit 380 on the big Road. I hadn't heard that. Interesting though.

The gun store (gun Smith shop) on Wallburg high point road and mock road got hit Around 1 am Saturday or Sunday. They didn't get in but there were 4-5 cars that pulled into the parking lot and 6-7 guys tried to kick in the door. He has videos and pictures on his Facebook page. They also hit the Horneytown gun store same night, I figue it was the same group. Don't know if they made it inside or not.

Those are both too close to me for comfort.

There’s a video of the Stokesdale breakin that @Chdamn's Wife showed me.

They kicked in a few displays and stole about 14 pistols.

But if they didn't steal any ammo for those 14 pistols, where are they going to get ammo? Looting Walmart is not going to get them any.

I hope they’ve upped the security at Outdoor Limited. :(

I’d love to see stores with a cage built in behind the doors & glass containing ~15’ anaconda.
That’d cause a lot of these thugs to think twice about entering the stores, day or night.
A couple large dogs would work as well, but not as entertaining.

Yep, all planned out. In and out before the police get there.
Why haven't the shops upped their security, or at least sitting on the nest?
Do they not realize they are all being targeted?

Hmmm. Targeting gun shops. Almost as if someone was directing it. Next step -- shut down the sale of guns and ammo in the name of "public safety".

They already have started.

West Palm Beach Mayor Keith James issued a declaration of state of local emergency on Sunday, banning the sale of firearms and ammunition due to the George Floyd protests taking place in the Florida area.

Maybe he should ban the stealing of firearms and ammunition.

Yep. First the test cases in "safe" areas, to see what kind of push-back they get -- if any. Then, there'll be a statewide test ... somewhere like RI or MA. Then, cook the books to show the benefit. Rinse, repeat.
