Thank you Mr. Cooper

I ain’t cuttin’ mine... :p

Did His Majesty open up barber shops? Or is that the after/before shots of getting raped by a liberal governor.

My barber opened a couple weeks ago and it took until today to get a spot in his appointment book. Huge price increase but probably warranted after a two month closure.

That and all the additional product to cover all the new covid rules.

Serious question. What barber do you use? I've been wanting to get my head shaved a couple of times before I start doing it myself.

I currently trim it down as close as I can with a Wahl trimmer but I know I'll cut my head all up as soon as I take a razor to it.

Jeremiah Jeppo is no more.

I used to prefer Ralph at his shop just down N Main from Horneytown Guns. When Drew passed, I guess Ralph retired. Second (and current) choice is Bryan Adkins at his shop on Lexington at Hamilton. They work by appointment only except Friday/Saturday when it may be a madhouse. I booked for 9am today and, other than the two barbers (he and Matt, his son), there was a fellow in the chair and his wife in the place.

They have some funny “book online” thing but I’d just give ‘em a ring to set and appointment and verify they’ll shave you. I know they’ve reduced the services offered. (336) 883-4511.

Trim it close. Then lather it up. Then start at one ear and go front to back until you get to the other ear. I've been at this for over five years. I've only nicked my self once.

While I am happy you achieved "trimness" of the coif...I have to say...whatever your barber is charging, its too much.

About the only purchase I make where the job keeps getting easier, keeps taking less time and keeps costing more. :(

I thought old man Luke became one with the force, I see he just moved to Florida and bought a Vette and a gold chain!

First time in after the crown allowed him to do business again, I gave my barber a $20 tip. The problem with my hair is not so much cutting it, as finding it

I see a Duke's/Hellman's, 9mm/45acp, whipped cream/meringue meme in someone's future.

If you are near the Welcome area, I use and highly recommend Gary Hicks. He cuts on Wednesday and Thursdays at Blackmon's barber shop on Old 52, right across from the entrance to Richard Childress. He still uses a straight razor and lather, I think his cuts are $11. He is as full of crap as a Christmas turkey but he is a great guy, friend, and barber.

I "WILL NOT" go to my stylist until that stupid mask requirement is gone. I am close to sitting on my hair and my color looks tiger-like.

I can wear pony tail/braids and a hat until I don't have to sit near suffucating for 2+ hours.

This ^

Sometimes I just buzz mine but often I got for the full Monty and shave it. Never have I cut myself. It's easier than it sounds. Use a new razor blade when you shave the dome.
