Revolver Picture Thread

I can get some ammo from Mike that will blow that lock out for you!!!
Why would I want to shoot something that an African Safari Hunter won't shoot. I'll shoot factory magnum calibers all day as long as it is not 454 casull ammo. That shite hurts . I don't have a problem shootng 500 S&W ammo. I kinda like it. I'm sure that the short barrel would have more recoil than the 8 3/8 barrel I shot.I would like to shoot a 460 S&W someday

@Etruett picked one up in Wagram yesterday!!!!!
Phillip got in my pocket the other day. I've overspent lately, so my new toy is on layaway. He had a well used, but not hurt, 342PD in the case. I've wanted one for years but you never see them!!

I have never noticed a revolver that had .38 S&W SPL. +P JACKETED on the barrel. Why specify jacketed ammo? Any reason not to shoot lead bullets out of it?

With the super light scandium revolvers lead bullets loaded in the cylinder back out of the cases under recoil, to the point where they can lock up the cylinder. Hence, jacketed only, and even then, not all brands or bullet weights.

So you can shoot lead out of them but just not any real hot +p lead rounds?

I have noticed the capsules from shot rounds being pulled out of the cases in my 329 when I shoot full power loads while some shot cartridges are in the cylinder.

Brought home this night cobra this week.
I wasn't sure about the bobbed hammer but the double action is so smooth you don't miss single action.
Think this is going to the next bug gun match with me

Beautiful New Service! If you are interested and want to spend the money, you can get a letter from Colt stating when it was shipped and to whom. I did it for my NS and found that it was shipped to a shop in Los Angeles on December 22 1919. When I bought it in 2010 it had only gone about 60 miles from where it was first purchased.
