This may be an unpopular opinion...but...hey...its me...but I hold that none of >us< can violate their 2nd amendment rights. The 2nd Amendment restricts the government from doing so. So while calling the popo or the feds on them may lead to that happening, unless you are an agent of the government, you really cant.
Reminds me of people griping about Facebook and Twitter blocking certain people and others screaming about their 1st amendment rights. Unless its the government directing them to shut stuff down, its just a company choosing what they will allow on their platform.
If I own a gun range, and I can articulate that I deem someone unsafe for use of my range, I can tell them to leave. Whether because I cannot verify their legality to own/use a firearm, or because I feel they are behaving in an unsafe manner. And if you think about it, even >IF< you could kick them off the range for a "protected class violation", that still isnt preventing them from owning a firearm. Its just preventing them from using it on your premises.

One of my best friends is Mexican. He recently had his car broken into at 2am. He ran out in his underwear and the guy ran off, he chased for about a block. My friend called the cops to report it and two cops were on scene before he was even back in the home.
The questions they had for him were ridiculous - what's your DOB? Where do you work? How long you been there? Why are you in this neighborhood? (he owns a home there, its in the historic Ardmore district). Again - HE CALLED THEM.
They said he looked like a gang member.

And while at the root the ANTIFA folks have similar views (anti-commie etc), they arent living the same. They want to shut up anyone who isnt like them, and that's been evident for a long time.

Sadly the conservatives have only a precious few public voices. I won't include Trump, as he has 16 different messages every day. Tucker Carlson and Tom Cotton should get more air time. Unfortunately theyre not on social media enough, andyou have to buy cable to hear them.

Not that you are banging the race baiting drum, but it's funny how many folks are incapable of seeing their own dichotomy when it doesn't suit their outrage. There was video going around of some fat incel POS going full in on the "down with patriarchy" feminist nonsense while some women described being raped, that is, until one described her rapist as being a typical "religion of peace" supporter, at which point he flips his lid, calling her a racist POS. Hell, we had a member here saying he wouldn't lose sleep if something started happening to police families based on his negative interactions with them, but the world would cry foul if I made a comment along the same lines based on race, sexuality, etc.

Police profile people based on how they look. Black guy with dreads and pants halfway down his ass? Mexican in baggy Dickies covered in tattoos? White kid with liberty spikes and a tattered leather jacket? Backwoods Bohemian looking weirdo in a nice part of town? Not one race is immune from judgment based on looks. If you're wearing a costume used by those that often like to play criminal, you're going to get treated like one.
Well, maybe that is due to the fact that some races commit a disproportionate amount of crime. To believe otherwise is ignoring the facts.

I have nothing in common with the Antifa people as they present themselves these days. They are communists and carry around communist flags. They are following the examples of some of the worst genocidal leaders the world has ever known. They want to tear down our government rather than get it back on the right track.. They want to destroy America instead of making it great again and keeping it great. They want to eliminate certain races of people. They want to go down a path that has been tried before and that has failed every time.
It does scare me a bit how heavy-handed and militarized some police are becoming because it makes it easier for them to abuse their power, but I certainly do not want to abolish law enforcement the way Antifa does. The politics of this country have been not to my liking many times in my life, but violent overthrow and elimination of a country framed around the Constitution is not my idea of reform. Elimination of a race of people, especially my race, is not something I find to be in my best interest. They themselves do not want equality among races but rather domination by one race. They seem to be promoting the very things against which they are "protesting" so violently.
The "will not comply" folks want the Constitution to be followed rather than eliminated. Big difference. Remember that the enemy of my enemy is not always my friend. Some of us may be concerned about some of the same things but are hoping for vastly different outcomes than the Antifa people seek. They are not our friends and are not working for a common goal.
I wonder if those folks realize that people are allowed to shoot back if they start using those guns against people? Life is not a video game they can turn off and reboot when they are shot dead by someone protecting themselves and their family.
