Missouri couple point guns at protesters calling for St. Louis mayor to resign

Once again CFF delivers...a discussion about defending ones property, life, and home from a mob of brainless heathens devolves into a discussion of preferred condiments. I love you guys.

Except you. I love you, just dont like you.

I would be proud to have them as my neighbors. They might not be as polished as "real gun owners" But they had the stones to show that they would not roll over and let their property and lives be threatened.
This^^^^^^^^^^I'd take these two on My team. At least we know they have the Will to fight. The will and willingness is far more important than the weapons you choose [if any at all]. This husband and wife were Not going quietly into the good night.

... They bought a gun, protected their home, and didn’t stand down and all I hear is- “ man they give gun owners a bad name.” “We look bad when they come out on the lawn.” “Her trigger control needs work.” What’s real gun owner- a guy who shoots steel at a match and hides under the bed when the trash shows up and breaks down the front lawn gate?
This is even better, because these people are not gun enthusiasts, they are just regular citizens (if somewhat better off than average) - demonstrating the value of owning firearms.

fixed it for you.

Yeah, we could stand a good defunding.

BTW in case you are wondering, it is Trump's insistence that we move AWAY from the military as the point of the spear in foreign policy that has caused the uproar of top brass at the pentagon, which is actually the best shot yet at running him out of office. Imagining the military as this noble collection of fearless patriots bravely laying down their lives to protect Sally and baby Joe and Marie back home may make for some weepy eyed propaganda, but it is nonsense. There IS partiotism, of course. However, government work is government work, whether it is an EPA wonk or a career field officer/sergeant.

I am for cutting the military budget just like I am for cutting police department budgets. Give guys guns and authority and then expect to keep your liberties is like putting your teenage daughter naked in the room with her boyfriend and expecting them to behave. I have seen dumber things, but I can't remember when.

In all honesty, some of the military budget should go toward the testing and treatment of pandemic/epidemic events like we are experiencing now. This is as big a risk to national security as a foreign military and cyber terrorists.

Beware of pissed off Karens with pistols. It kinda seemed to me anyway that she would have had no ish poppin a few of them. I kinda felt a "bring it on" vibe about her.

Of course. These guys are all about practicing safe food. :D

NBC, that great bastion of truth, indicated that the two homeowners are both lawyers who support BLM and who started getting worried only when some White people started giving them grief. I wonder whether they only want the guns for themselves to protect their stuff but do not want the rest of us to be able to have them? I wonder if they support the destruction of society as we know it in favor of a communist utopia promoted by the BLM people? I wonder if they support the destruction of all those statues. I hope not, but I have to wonder.

I can take or leave mustard. Mayo, however, is necessary on some sandwiches. A venison sandwich or a tomato sandwich, the taste of summer, is just not the same without plenty of Duke's. Home made mayo is even better.

A hot pretzel cannot be eaten without mustard. It will choke you.

Btw, the DA over there seems a real piece of work.

Kim Gardner is part of a Soros-funded criminal justice reform effort

Kim Gardner is part of a Soros-funded group focused on criminal justice reform. Other members of this group were recently in St. Louis supporting Gardner. Apparently, Soros has been working tirelessly, at the local level, pouring millions of dollars into city elections in an effort to overhaul our criminal justice system.

Well, they're personal injury lawyers living in an upscale gated community. "Everyone" says they support BLM, until it gets personal for them, like that BLM supporting mayor that called them "domestic terrorist" after they graffitied her house or that ESPN guy who said they should burn it all down until they came his way to and said, "Get these animals TF out of my neighborhood. Go back to where you live.”

Regardless of how one feels about ambulance chasers, it is my understanding that the lawyer profession operates on the premise that everyone deserves fair representation and as long as there isn’t some sort of obvious or overt conflict they leave their personal politics at the proverbial door.

For anyone who has read John Ringo's Road to Damascus this is a bit familiar.

Shame we don't have a Bolo.
Yeah, that book mirrors current events (including described attitudes and the city/rural difference) so dang closely it's very hard to read without having a coronary.

Them being lawyers is of no great importance to me. NBC mentioned it for some reason. I suppose it may matter since they should be more familiar with the legalities of displaying weapons than other people would be
The thing I found to be interesting was their support for the group upon which they were evidently prepared to fire. I wonder if it opened their eyes a little? Nah, highly unlikely.

I think they were just interested in shooting the loud mouth white boys.
