Going under the knife tomorrow morning

Have to have some surgery on my hand and it's been delayed for over a month due to the covid crap. Tomorrow is my day, not looking forward to it but it shouldn't be too bad.

More upset it's gonna keep me from shooting for awhile.

Well, maybe I live a sheltered life and don't know the exact meaning of that but it's funny you said it. It's the outside of my hand and left pinky, suffered tendon damage.

My wife says I have been drinking my tea with my pinky up....and she's right cause right now it don't bend...so I look like an elitist...no, not really.

Two week follow up....pin stays in for now....dam.

I have bumped that pin, which had been inside my splint, exactly 4 times....and dear God.....

Hm. Hang in there... but use the other hand!

You must look at this as an opportunity.

Serious support hand shooting for # of weeks will Greatly increase your effectiveness of you are ever involved in a gun fight!

Well....got the pin out of the bone yesterday....ouch. (Got some gross pictures if ya want, lol).

Still non-functional fifth digit (pinky finger) on my left hand. Being setup with occupational therapy top see if that can restore function.

It's been a long road since my injury in February.....day to day.

Ok......my wife says it's gross.

The converse indention where the pin was placing pressure on the top of my finger because it was inserted into the bone...kinda cool looking.



The "bone juice" as the doctor called it right after the pin was removed....he said I sprung a leak....ha, ha funny doc.



And.....back in a splint but a little shorter one this time. Yes, already banged it on something, yes, it hurt like hell.

Reckon that rules out nose-picking with that finger.
