SC Bans Alcohol Sales in Bars & Restaurants After 11PM

nearly half of the COVID-19 cases in South Carolina have been reported in the past two weeks.
Holy crap, that is surprising. Not sarcasm. We had months of covid. I know there was a spike, but that is alarming. Even if we haven't had test kits until later on, that's surprising.

I read yesterday about an NC county doing something similar (but 10pm). Maybe it was Orange Co?
Sounds like a really dumb idea.

So we should be watching for the flood of SC yoots to head to Charlotte to get their party on after 11 p.m. ?

I wished they would have stopped serving at 11 back when I was clubbing/bar hopping/etc.

I happened to flip to a local channel...was going to check out The Price Is Right since I haven’t seen it in years...and what do you know...Billy’s favorite McPolitician was on announcing this brilliant mandate! Beyond all the “blah, blah, blah”, what I found hilarious was the guy off-screen that stepped in each time they switched speakers to wipe down the speaker’s podium! He would quickly run some type of cloth over the two edges (where you could rest your hands/arms) and the top where speaker notes would sit.

Note, that not one of the speakers (at least what parts I saw) touched the podium or laid any notes on it! Wiped it down anyway each time. What useless theater it was!

Also, some of the media questions at the end were down right ignorant...big surprise there! MickyM even got a little testy with one.
