Anyone see Coleman's Creek has opened up to public memberships? With closer clubs having shorter ranges and multi-year wait lists I pulled the trigger and signed up. Sounds like they have a good variety of shooting setups.

$500 for a family membership. $1000 gets you guest passes and other things.

I can take guests as well. $50 for the entire day and access to all the ranges that are open. Yell if you want to go down sometime, sure we can work it out to meet.

Thanks, will do. I havent shot any real distance in a very long time so Im excited to get out there.

Went to Coleman's Creek today thanks to @TSConver ...

Stretched my Tikka out to 1200 meters and started working on my dope... What a great place. Incredible layout and so many targets...

Pricey, but well worth the money. If it wasn't so far I would join in a heartbeat..

Went last night for a recon of the ranges. The LE Dept I train with now has a membership there.

This Friday from 0900-1200 I will be doing LE Sniper training for the Dept.

Nice range.

I wish that place was closer, just what I've been looking for.

After spending some time on the range today, it's a great place!

I tell alot of people when looking at the cost, think of the number of times in a year you will go. Let's say once a month. Take that amount and divide the annual cost.

Now you can weight the value per-trip.

For me being a member at Woody's Hunting Club. I am also weighting the access at Coleman's for the 500yds to 1640yds. Since Woody's stops at 540yds now.

Heading down tomorrow for a look. Will probably end up joining as even if I go once a month it's only about $40 a trip.

I joined 2 weeks ago then went for the first time last weekend and heading down there Saturday. Nice range and only place I know around me (Monroe) that has that distance. I belong to crpc also but it’s only 300 yds.

I've just joined this range. Sunday was scheduled for an outing, but the rain had other ideas. I haven't shot past 500 yards since I left FL. Really want to see what this Tikka will do when she gets a chance to stretch her legs.

I was a member at woody's was thinking of re-joining but now may consider coleman's

i love Woody's and go most weeks.
he is good people for sure. I reached out about re-newing. we canceled our family when my wife was pregnant and I didn't renew my solo after I wasn't going often. most of my shooting will be long range now.

That's an easy choice between the two. The only thing about Coleman's is they don't have a longer distance for paper but they said they were going to put in a 300 yard paper range. Will probably get put in before the 1000 yards range at Woody's we have heard about coming for years. LOL

it would probably be in by now if everyone quit shooting steel in the pistol bays with rifle rounds.

You know he is grading the 1000 yard range now. Not sure of actual ETA but work is ongoing. Rain has not helped this year. Also woody has all the free movement bays that Coleman's does not have. I am a member at both and they both have their advantages and disadvantages.

the free movement bays are amazing. I am way more comfortable with pistols than long guns and was always uncomfortable on the long ranges.

Well I guess we will see. I have been hearing about the 1000 yard line for a while before I even moved down here 3 years ago so not holding my breath. LOL

Bring it up to Coleman's and I bet them make some. They seem really into building the place up.

Any of y'all going to be at Colemans Friday morning? I'll be there trying to gather data on my Dasher. Will probably be at the 1200m range. Plan to be there when the gate opens.
