Managed to grab one of these a few days ago in between restocks. ALG seems to be replenishing stock again fairly regularly these days, but you gotta act fast.

I have several ALG Enhanced AK triggers, but this is my first Ultimate. Whew doggy is it nice! Tapco's G2 has always been a solid trigger and I prefer it for some applications, but this thing is butter. Barely any creep, about a 3-lb. pull, crisp reset, and follow-up shots require just the slightest of finger movement to pull the trigger. It is a featherweight AK trigger for sure, but not too light for me, though I know some folks have returned or replaced these triggers for that reason.

I did have to press in a roll pin (included) to the trigger leg since the selector on my 106 just missed the leg while on "safe," allowing me to still fire the gun. I filed off about 1mm of the pin and now everything functions as it should.

Only gripe would be that I wish these were offered in a black finish instead of alloy.

Anyone else using/used one of these? What do you think?

The ALG AK triggers are nice.... Ive been using them since they came out. In some guns they fit better then others, and I see alot of benefit in using the auxiliary spring they come with.

Now if putting one in an Arsenal rifle, like that 106, be aware you may need to take some metal off of the disconnecter to allow for a clearance with the "anti slap" trigger guard rivet. You can install it and run it without doing so, and it may work fine, but you are likely to see deformation of the rivet... or potentially the disco may fail. Some prefer to take some metal off of the rivet. Either way if you do find a need to make a clearance, just becareful to not take off too much.

I've installed a few of these and they are really great triggers. I don't have one in my personal defense pistol since the trigger is a little too light for my taste. When I pull the trigger on a rifle I'm testing and I don't immediately realize I'd installed an ALG I always think afterwards "Wow, this stock trigger is amazing!" until I look and remember it's an ALG. They put lots of though into the design and it has paid off.
