New 4473

Is the Non-Binary new? It’s not on one I just pulled online...but I don’t know if there were changed made since then.

Question 14 ...

Looks to be missing all the citizenship y/n questions and the top is from what, normally page 2 right? The section after the buyer's signature.

They moved the gun info to the front. Same info though. The non binary for sex is new.

My buddy handed me one of those last week. The buyer doesn't start filling out until mid-page. Someone in the New Forms Department trying to be relevant.

A separate section for PCS orders. Now maybe service members can stop throwing a hissy fit when we ask for orders.

Bringing the “future” universal background check to the forefront.

Basically it gives any of the ABC organizations or law enforcement the ability take 1 photo and get the name, address and such of the person buying the firearm(s) and what they bought if they want to go full Gestapo. The old took 1 photo for the name and such then flip to the firearm(s) information and take a 2nd photo.

I still find it hard to believe someone doesn't know if they are male or female...

I drove my youngest home from v-ball practice when she was about 10. The kids had been discussing this issue. She said Dad, why are people confused? All you need to do is look down.

Knock on wood, but she is still wise and u corrupted by the Marxist mob.

I'm getting upset that there is not a cisgender, non-queer fluid category. What if I just mark all three?

Don't get your panties in a wad, or a wad in your panties, as the case may be.
Some states are allowing residents to declare non-binary gender status. If somebody's state ID says "other" for gender then they literally could not legally fill out an old 4473 because it only offered male/female.

This is a good thing. It's actually a libertarian thing. Your 2A right doesn't change just because you don't feel M or F - it's guaranteed to all citizens, and the 4473 had to be updated to help promote that.
Personally, I'd strip the 4473 away entirely, or at least remove the questions of gender, race, and ethnicity... but nobody asked my opinion.

Also makes scanning into a database a lot easier, you can feed the forms in and get everything you want without having to figure out how to open and process multiple pages. I'm sure for $100M they could buy a wide pass scanner, but when you're doing it on the cheap for only $99M using scanners you bought from ebay it's easier on 1 page.
