I have it (from unreliable sources) that BLM/Antifa has made plans to protest/riot/gather in Sturgis, SD during the bike rally and I don't want to miss a single moment.
Seats are still available if anyone wants to join me.....

Very likely false... but RIP skinny white BLM turds who keep arguing when a black motorcycle club tells them to shut up.

Nah, they started bringing their moms to the protests. They're safe.

I donā€™t believe itā€™s a true protest setup BUT more like a red herring to throw crap into the events of the week. I can see groups being on edge and just waiting for something to happen. In doing so the idiots would at a minimum suck some of the fun out up to causing paranoia incidents ... which would be a win without even being there doing one thing.

It's a bike rally, you should be leaving on a motorcycle not a jet plane.
Thatā€™s over 1700 miles if you donā€™t mind going thru Illinois ... over 1900 miles if you go south of Illinois but you have to go thru St Louis then. On a bike ... Iā€™d choose neither ... maybe trailering but definitely not on a bike thru either routeā€™s possible troubled cities.

It's not trailer week. 1700 miles is only a two day ride. I've been through St Louis many times on my bike. If I have time I take two lanes around the city, if not I just blast through on the interstate.

I find that hard to believe. Heck, as sparsely populated SD is, that'd be a hell of a haul to get them there. And then they're vastly outnumber, and by some folks (not all) that have ZERO issues hurting others. Lots of MCs go, and while Ive met a lot and they were always friendly to me, I also know that I'd never cross them.
These kids dont have the balls for that.

Have ridding to Sturgis twice, beautiful land out there. God's Country.

Iā€™m waiting for the Cajun jokes about Boudreau and Thibodeau taking BLM protesters ā€œwater skiingā€ ... aka trolling the bayou for alligators :D

IF there any truth to this rumor ... I still think itā€™s a red herring just to get in event attendees heads ... there will be a ā€œdrag raceā€ with BLM protesters as ā€œhonored guestsā€.

That would be like committing mass suicide for the Anti's.
Oh well.
Pics or it didn't happen for those in here that do go this year
