Fiocchi announces new ammo facility to be built in Arkansas

This is great news, more USA jobs and another ammo facility.

AMMOLAND: Fiocchi, a global leader in defensive, target, and hunting ammunition, is pleased to announce plans for a significant investment in a new, independent manufacturing facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. This plan is part of an ongoing strategic initiative by Fiocchi of America and the Italy-based Fiocchi Group to expand its U.S. and international operations.

Oh awesome! A lot of people use Fiocchi ammo, so more of it would be super helpful. I'm sure Arkansas will appreciate the business, as will I!

Wonder if they considered buying the Remington ammo facility in Hunstville, Alabama since Rem is in BK reorganization. Uses to be a Chrysler car plant.

This was probably in the works for more than a year. They probably couldn't have anticipated the opportunity.

I hope they ramp up production of the low recoil 12 gauge slugs. 1145 fps. Usually available at a decent price.
Same muzzle velocity as the Federal Flite-Control buckshot I use for HD.

PMC or Rmington used to have a plant in Eldorado, AR. There were ordinance chemical and munition assmebly plants all over AR at one time. AR has fallen on hard times but is trying to make a comeback, I'm sure with incentives. My wife's family from there and she and her sis went there last June for a visit. Hope Fiocchi can figure out how to drill flash holes on center.

The off center flash holes were designed for use with Glocks that don't straight.

That’s great news for Arkansas. Great news for ammo in general. Hopefully the quality control will get better as well.
