Finally got around to suppressing my 22LR AR build.

Shot a bunch last weekend and use CCI quiet-22 regular subsonic lead round nose. Would not even cycle enough to do anything. But it was crazy quiet.

Shot a bunch of Remington Golden Bullet 36gr but it was dirty as crap and the action started to gum up after a few mags.

Does anybody know if CCI part# 934CC will cycle a 22 AR?

That won't cycle my suppressed 15-22 SBR. It's unfortunate because I have a crap ton of it.

With the can on it?
Are you using a rimfire can or a centr fire?
I have more hosts than I care to say and this cycles them all with a can. I have one very short barrel MKII Rooga, without a can, will short stroke.

In my case, it's an 11" AR pistol with arm brace. I'm using a 556 can. It's Overkill, but very quiet.

Barrel was 16" but I had it cut down to 11" by Clayton Guns.

SV from Winchester, Remington, CCI and Blazer runs just fine in my M&P 15-22 with Sparrow suppressor and on all my other host rifles and pistols.

I usually run Blazer in my 15-22 SBR. But, I’ve shot some CCI SV on multiple occasions and haven’t had an issue. I do know another person that cut his down several years ago and said it wouldn’t run SV. So he traded barrels with somebody (I think in Canada) and cut the new one down to ~10” instead.

Does SV tend to run cleaner suppressed than HV, all other factors being equal?

One would assume HV has more powder and thus more powder residue.

The 45 grain cycles everything I run it in AR included. The 40...not so much
