Did anyone on here watch NFL yesterday

Not feeling the effects yet and really don't care about it. When it gets cold at the coast on a Sunday, I can't duck hunt and the fish aren't biting, I like eating wings, tater skins, you name it and watching real housewives sure won't cut it. I gotta find something to entertain us but it sure won't be football.

No pro anything -football, basketball, baseball, nascar, hockey, etc...they can all take a number . They left me, so I left them.
I'm just waiting to see how stupid they'll let SEC football get...

If you really need to see a parade of thugs and rapists, just watch one of those prison documentaries. Much cheaper.

Who, in the last couple of years, has been charged with rape?
Just asking.
I hear so much about these terrible professional sports players, but very few ever get arrested or charged.
Yes, i know, they could always pay off the accusers, but I feel like I hardly ever hear about accusations.

Antonio Brown had some accusations, but was never charged. Rueben Foster, dont remember what came from that.
Ben Roethelsberger
Jaemis Winston

One rape is too many, but I do question things
And that's 4 current players (assuming they're all current) out of approximately 1700 players in the league (54 players to a team, 32 teams - not counting practice squads, coaches, trainers etc)
Sooooo its about .00231 percent of the players are accused. How does that stack up to accusations in America?
Hell, say there were 50 more that we didnt know about, a full roster's worth, still .03.

Now, Im not defending anyone or the NFL. I am a casual fan. I watch the Panthers most days, but not always, and I enjoy the Super Bowl.
But we see so many talk about how it's the FELON league and stuff, but the data doesnt back that up. Data be damned, right?
Do some get in trouble? Absolutely. We hear about some drug charges here and there, typically pot. Maybe a drunk driving. Yeah, some make mistakes and F up. But the data still shows that it's a very small percentage of players doing this.

But what about the good that they do? I dont mean the BLM protests or something like that, but a lot of these guys donate money and time to a lot of charitable organizations.

Now, the 'black national anthem' - I cant get behind that and Im not a fan of the kneeling. But some of yall act like they drafted from a maximum security prison and it's simply not true.

the nfl can go bend over and take it. Not going to watch it....I'm watching Lawrence Welk reruns!

A chance to see Brady’s debut with the Bucs?....I’m watching and figure most here will although few will admit the awful terrible dirty deed it is to go against our white privilege. This black lives business is racial business and has nothing to do with the actual game. If you haven’t had your daughter/ granddaughter/great granddaughter carry her black baby to dinner yet. get ready, your days coming. Might as well shallow the pill and enjoy the game, the future is here and there ain’t one thing you can do about it if you plan to continue living in America.

Lol, the troll meter just set a new record!

I would love to watch Brady and Gronk today but I will not. I won't watch any of the other games either. Until the BLM crowd quits blaming everything on "systemic racism" they have lost me. Let a police officer shoot a career criminal who is resisting arrest and all hell will break loose. Let that same criminal shoot a 5 year old black kid and you won't hear a word from BLM or the NFL. If these poor guys that keep getting shot by police are such good boys, why are they all getting the police called on them? When BLM, the NFL and all the rest of the "woke" crowd start calling out these thugs and telling young black men to cooperate and don't commit crimes in the first place, I may start watching pro sports again. But until then, I will not be a participant in there lies against white folks and police. Do your politics and activism on your own time. I didn't buy the NFL channel or a game ticket to then be served up a political rally.

It's easier to target an organization/association (LEO) than individuals. Same as why dont we (lets be honest, it's likely 99% white on here) get up in arms and protest against some random white trash dude doing something stupid?
What are we supposed to do, protest Jeff who touches kids or beat up his girlfriend?
Or do we just understand that there are some sick, evil people out there that commit horrible acts?

Im not agreeing with BLM at all, I dont like the BS they spew and the lies they spread, as well as the failure to research/investigate before sending their goons out to cause issues. I dont agree with an organization that takes in so much money but does nothing to actually help the black community.

What in the heck did I just read?

Turned it on the last little bit of the first half during the Panthers

Left it on during halftime while I fired up the Weber and grilled a steak for an early dinner and some burgers for later this week.
In a short time I heard three Trump ads, two by Trump, the other by another group that I dont recall the name, but I remember it was a long commercial bashing Biden

I didnt see the start of the game, not sure what happened or didnt happen
On the field is 'end racism,' which I hope everyone acn get behind, and something about 'in this together' or sticking together' or something
Thats all I got. On to GT World Challenge sportscar racing.

How I feel about the NFL has nothing to do with race. Hell. BLM has nothing to do with improving the lives of black people.

@OldNascar My three now-adult mixed-race nieces/nephews don't act like thugs, don't act like they're owed anything, and they haven't rioted or burned anything down. There's the difference that has nothing to do with race or skin color. You are missing the point widely.

I think I’d rather eat a bowl of crap than to watch any of the sport shows that would allow them to take knee to the National Anthem and disrespecting our real heroes, the military and our police forces.

Most blacks would read this and say just another cracker spouting off about how superior they are and how they know nothing of their plight. Raising a black in a white environment does not qualify that black the same life stresses that those in the hood the face daily.

According to Kapernick it does.
