IMHO.... when someone uses the phrase "new normal" it indicates that they are accepting whatever is happening as being normal and permanent. Its NOT!! It's only "normal" if you allow it to be.... and it's only permanent if you agree to it..... Stand on your hind legs and exercise your own opinion....

In my case, "new normal" happened after I (mostly) recovered from 4 surgeries and 15 months of four chemos...I have some damage from all that....it IS my normal, and it IS permanent.

That's the one that pisses me off.
Yeah I'm happy and grateful for the drs medics fire personnel teachers But heros in this aspect I dont think they are. What about the box store employee that faces ALOT of people. There alot of others that are in the same situation as those people that face the public.
 
Whether you're right or wrong, crazy, sane, angry, complacent, whatever... Call it anything you want but "the old normal" ain't coming back.
You can't un-ring that bell.

I was going to play the hero, but I’m too fat for leotards. I have to figured out what color combination for the cape, boots, gloves, would be acceptable to the masses. Wouldn’t want to offend anyone.
Ok my new normal is brewing beer again, other than that my life hasn’t changed much.
