list the best 80's and 90's movies to watch, i subscribed to hbo, starz, showtime, and cinemax because i have nothing better to do than watch movies all day and i'm running out of stuff to watch (it feels like it anyway)
i honestly don't care who's in it, i used to not watch certain movies because of certain actors like DeNiro because he's a huge liberal anti-gun hypocrite but now i don't care, one of my favorite movies is HEAT, i just want stuff to watch
i'm only 32, was born in '88 so i was a 90's kid i've seen a decent amount of popular 80's and 90's movies so most likely not all, kill my boredom!

Holy moly, the '80s were the best movie decade. Only the 40s was probably better.

Where to start?

Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
Rocky 2, 3, 4
Most of the good Arnold Schwarzenegger movies
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Caddyshack
Stripes (and most of the good movies with John Candy)
The Beverly Hills Cop franchise
Trading Places
Top Gun
Platoon
Heartbreak ridge
Unforgiven

And those I could just name in 10 seconds....

Unfortunately not everything is going to be streaming, but its good to have the list for when they change the movies out every few months

National Lampoons Vacation
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
National Lampoons Vegas Vacation

Bill and Teds excellent adventure
Back to the Future
Robocop
The Neverending Story

Some great suggestions. All are classics!

Only ones I see missing

Clue
Top secret
(Maybe I missed it) both airplane movies
All of the naked gun series
The sandlot
The princess bride
And, I know it was mentioned but make sure you dont miss it, the never ending story

Actually, I think it was "A Stoning In Fulham County", which was filmed a stone's throw :D from my driveway.
Days of Thunder filmed some scenes in a house down the road as well.
Never heard of that one. I’ll look it up

My wife and I were watching some show on netflix and a strongly autistic girl on the screen reminded me of a girl that was at my church growing up. actually she was a 20something woman, but she had the mind of a 5yr old.
I said something along the lines of "yeah, she was just like that - but back then there was no 'autistic' she was just retarded"
Wife was like "well that's mean!"
"not at the time... that's just the terms we had back then. it was before Rain Man."
"What's Rain Man?"
"... what?"

So, I'll add Rain Man to the list - gambling, "idiot savant", wheel of fortune, judge wapner, 80s business guy (probably on coke) trying to sell 80s lamborghinis... It's a pretty solid 80s movie.

And throw "Cloak and Dagger" and "War Games" on that list.

Reservoir dogs
Blade runner
16 candles
Escape from New York
The thing
