You military guys, chime in. I think this guy is BSing me, but maybe not. I might be a bit cynical these days.
 
I think hes a Nigerian who put up a fake pic and bio and it up to no good.....lol.
I just thought some of you might know if the details are ok.....like the 335th military intelligence corps thing.
 
.mil sites (Official DOD and US Military sites) show that the 355th Regiment reorganized 17 October 1996 to consist of the 1st, 2d, and 3d Battalions, elements of the 95th Division (Institutional Training) and the only other unit holding that designation is the 355th USAR a Signal Corps Reserve Unit so I'd bet he's fake. Plus any one who ever served knows Military Intelligence doesn't exist..lol. Spoken from experience both on active duty and a career DOD employee.

If he was actually in the intelligence corps (whatever the hell that is) he would not divulge where he is or why he is there. And I'm speaking from experience.

Whenever I was in a foreign country, either on maneuvers or on liberty, if anyone asked me what I did in the Suck I told them I was either a cook or worked in bulk fuel.

I think @wmg819 covered it rather well. A "Corps" is a whole big bunch of different units. A small unit like a single group would be either a "Unit" or a "Company". Probably one of the best know was the 525th Military Intelligence Company in Vietnam.

So my cynicism was correct.....lol.....thanks.
He was one of the ones who has come across many millions in a safe and needs me to take his share in and hold it for him...lol.

No idea how Accurately it is updated. Most of those articles about structure have sources cited. But it is the Internet, so trust but verify LOL

Ask him who are the Wildcats, if he says the UK’s basketball team he may be on the up and up. He says they are good eating then you know for sure he’s a Kentuckian!

I don't give strangers my home address, or any other personal info. (Well, maybe some of you guys, but certainly not random FB aholes....lol.)
 
Here's the latest story, from another guy:

"My dad died yesterday and left all his properties , I had my share of his properties but I can't go because I have been permitted to go and my shares of the property is with my dad's lawyer but I have to pay some amount of money to claim my property and what the lawyer is demanding is about $6000 but now I could only raise up to $2500 now please ____I won't mind if you can help me with a little amount even if it's just $1000 please ____ , I know you can do that for me"

I've hear variations on this one before, but not asking for that amount....wow

One of the taskings of my unit was PSD, and we were authorized "appropriate civilian clothing," and we told other people we were assigned to Stars and Stripes.... we did go to a couple places purely to take pictures and do for-real reconnaissance, our story was "embassy logistics supplementation detail." They weren't denied areas or black areas, we just didn't need what we were doing advertised.
