Honestly would be worth it for me. I cannot count how many times we have left the house only to turn around because someone thought they left a curling iron plugged in, left candles burning, left a stove on etc... I think only one time something was actually left on. I actually put a smart outlet in our bathroom so if my wife thought she left the hair straightener on, I could just turn it off without going back.

I don’t know, as I get older and it gets harder to get out of bed to respond to a bump in the night with any type of speed. Being able to grab my iPad and run a drone around the house to make sure everything’s fine seems like a pretty good idea.

I cant disagree, and you arent disagreeing with me. if its not 100% in my control and doing nothing but what I told it to do, and talking to only my equipment, its not "my camera" its someone else's.

At the same time... most of the crap in my house came out of an amazon box so...

That is so smart! I’m going to have to check into that! My wife does not know how to unplug her straightener, ever! And I quote,”it has an automatic shut off” :mad:o_O
