They're losing at the moment to KCHaven't followed any preseason, but Pats look like they're picking up where they left off. Is anyone in the AFC good enough to really challenge them? Steelers maybe?
Yeah, I may have spoken too soon. They're losing at the moment to KC
That is true...Yeah, I may have spoken too soon.
But c'mon, this is the Patriots. Their opponents usually find ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
That said, a loss at home to start the season would be big letdown for NE.
I say if you are watching the NFL, you should go ahead and take a knee.
Ah, the well worn internet forum practice of posting in threads about subjects you allegedly have no interest in. Gonna be a long season for you guys if you have auto-subscribe turned on.Frankly y'all I don't give a damn. Losers, every damn one of them..
Yep, those damn losers who donate so much time and money to charities and people in need. LOSERS.Frankly y'all I don't give a damn. Losers, every damn one of them..

Those dang losers who make tens of millions of dollars each year in salaries, endorsement deals, and other promotions. LOSER.
Those dang losers who (gosh, who was the poster that has the info on crime stats that's posted it before???) statistically break fewer laws than the average American citizen. LOSERS.
Last night I did a marathon binge of Hard Knocks on HBO. Such a good show and I recommend it to all football fans, even if its not your team (I dont care much for the Bucs, but its a great show!)
JJ Watt's little brother, TJ Watt is no joke. And he's on a great team to be playing defense for - Pittsburgh.
To be fair, I think the bet the owners are making is that Hispanics will take to NFL football. We'll see.
I think the NFL games played in Mexico have done well, so the NFL seems to think they can draw a lot of Hispanic fans.I bet they go to one game expecting to see futbol and walk away pissed.
Or at least the NFL better hope so. CA will be mostly Hispanic before long.I think the NFL games played in Mexico have done well, so the NFL seems to think they can draw a lot of Hispanic fans.
The NFL should be in panic mode right now. Every day, there is a new article about how their ratings are dropping and some excuse about why their stadiums are not full. This Kaepernick thing happened at the worst time for them- when they were already losing their audience to cord-cutting, millennials who were raised to think that football is a violent and too-masculine sport, and people that were struggling to pay the bills- not to mention paying extra to watch their broadcasts.
When I lived in Indianapolis (we moved back to NC 7 years ago), I was a huge Colts fan and even considered paying for the NFL Sunday Ticket on DirecTV, but it was so expensive, I just couldn't justify the cost. But, this year they offered it for free, in the hopes that I'll pay for it next year. I won't, but they don't know that. Even with having every game at my fingertips, I still haven't watched a whole game yet (I flipped a little bit last Sunday, but didn't find anything I cared about enough to watch).
I think a lot of fans are like me, in that I like football, but I really don't want to support a bunch of overpaid children complain about a job that most of us would kill for the chance to do (unfortunately, there's not a lot of demand for 5'9" out-of-shape linemen). They're living a dream life and they want to tell us how hard it is to get ahead in life. As much as I like football, I don't feel the need to spend three hours watching people that publicly say that they hate me and everything I stand for.
Every Sunday, I have list of things to do: go to church (so half the day is gone already), watch football, do the chores around the yard and house that I didn't get done on Saturday, work on woodworking projects that I need to finish, work in my office to prepare for the week, etc. While football is still on my to-do list, it has move down considerably in rank.
The NFL is making a huge mistake in embracing the "I hate America" crowd. I think there are a lot more of us than them. And I believe that most Americans love this country and, while we don't always agree with the political stuff going on, we really believe in what the USA stands for and that this is the greatest place on earth. Plus, this demographic represents a large portion of the people that work and pay taxes and might have a little bit left over for activities like watching football. If NFL wants to piss off this group (which they are doing), then a large percentage of the their audience is never coming back.

Who said they hate you?
Who is in this 'I hate America' crowd?
Antifa, Hollywood, the Left, liberal professors, Obama...
