Ladies (especially) and Gentlemen,

Later this month, Project Appleseed will be hosting a LadySeed Weekend. It is the same course as a regular Appleseed, though Ladyseed is an Appleseed designed specifically for women, with only female shooters.

It offers the opportunity for women to shoot, share and get to know each other in a comfortable learning environment. Of course, the women who attend a Ladyseed event will learn much more than how to fire a rifle, they’ll also learn American heritage and how women actively aided in the fight for America’s freedom. When you attend a Ladyseed, it’s our hope that you’ll leave with new friends, a renewed sense of country, and an enhanced sense of civic responsibility.

If there is interest, I would like to extend an offer to this LadySeed free of charge to female members of CFF.

Additionally, for the male CFFers, I would like to make the same offer to your wives, girlfriends and/or daughters (essentially the ladies in your immediate family, though I would recommend not letting your wife meet your girlfriend at an event where both will learn how to be accurate with a rifle out to 500 yards .:p).

Let me know if you're interested and I'll get the coupon code set up to attend the LadySeed Memorial Day Weekend on May 26th and 27th at the Home Range in Ramseur, North Carolina free of charge.

Looks like it is May 26-27.
How old to participate without a parent? 16 OK? She has done them before with me, and her sister was/is an orange hat but has gone off to college.

For those under 18, a parent or guardian would still need to sign the Waiver (I'll see about getting one in digital form I can send you). We don't have a minimum age set in stone - our only request is that they havehthe maturity to safely operate the rifle, as well as understanding potential ammo difficulties (hang fires, misfires, and squibs) without the need for constant (over the shoulder) supervision. Basically mature enough to be safe.

EDIT: I'll ask about the unaccompanied part - not sure I've seen it save for like Boy Scouts when the Troop Leaders acted as a proxy legal guardian for the weekend.

Ok. Thanks.

The ladies in my life cannot attend that weekend, but I still want to thank you for the generous offer to CFF members!

Last chance: LadySeed starts bright and early Saturday morning! Treat the wife or daughter, take the rest of the family to the Zoo.....

Let me know by tomorrow at 1500 for the CFF exclusive coupon code!
