Can I not post a short video from my laptop? I can choose a file, see the name of it in the box, but it never goes into the reply box, it just stays in the "upload a file" box and that little black and white thing keeps looking like it's loading but nothing ever happens. What am I doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong...it's just not an option. You can only post the file types listed:

IMG_2152.jpg

You can upload it somewhere else (like YouTube) and post a link.
