I saw a nice set up where a few guys have mounted them under the flip up back seat on some crew/xtra cab trucks. its a slick set up. I could see that as a quiet place to hide one.
 
Picked 'er up last week. Sharp lookin' gun & the wood looks just like the old NOS riot gun wood I put on my M590A1.
 
God that does look nice... from what I can tell in that crappy pic!

I won one of those Shockwave POS's in 12 gauge and intend to do a NFA SBS thing someday, otherwise I would have sold it. To me it's about worth the 20 bucks I spent on raffle tickets. I had been looking for some of the wood furniture for it to at least cool it up a bit and make it look old school, but decided against it because of the ridiculous cost as well as the 12 gauge firearm being marginally legal, I don't want to take a chance on changing any dimensions with an aftermarket grip.

It’s just a simple matter of a poor lighting and background combination. You could move it somewhere else and take a pic just fine with your phone.
 
Try a tan or grey background..... I like the wood furniture. Mine's got the plastic stuff.

How about $200, 3 lower builds, and a barrel swap for it and I'll include the $40 scabbard and some really hard to find aguila mini buckshot :). And I'll throw in the awkward smile.
 
I bought @amnesia 's used shockwave a few days ago. I just ordered the Black Aces Tactical wood furniture and quad rail with spike from a guy on ebay for about 20% less than BAT is selling theirs. The rail and furniture are due to arrive one week from today. I'll post pics after I install the upgrades...

Added a PA redot to both and laser bore sighted them in. Upgraded thumb safety to NDZ -FDE.

A very capable firearm as demonstrated by this fella. Even shoots a few double clays.

Got my red safety and follower today from NDZ Performance. I ordered the wood furniture and rail from Black Aces. It shipped today. I'll add more pics after I install them.

Anybody need a Magpul Moe 590 forend for their shockwave? I'm not going to need this one after I put the wood furniture on next week. What's a good price for a magpul forend (already modified to fit the 12ga shockwave), $40?

The quad rail is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I'll post more pics after I get it put together.

My wife saw it today, after I put the wood furniture on, and she really liked it. She jokingly said that she wants one now. I told her I'd get her one for our anniversary next month and she said, "OK".

Anybody got one of these for sale used in 20ga or 4-10? Haha.

I have a 20 gauge but it's not a shockwave :) you can AOW it

What is it?

Because if it’s a shotgun instead of a Shockwave, you can’t AOW it.

They are slimmer dimensions. And they won't accept most of the upgrade parts.

The rail, shell holder, and wood furniture in my pics will only fit on the 12ga version.

Well, I was counting all the notches on the top rail but I lost where I was at around 300. :)
I'm trying to recall if I've ever seen a rail that long.
You know what would be awesome? A set of peep sights that look like YKK zipper tabs.
 
My Shockwave shoots high like all of them seem to do. You guys with the XS Big Dot front sights....does that additional height of the sight get the shot pattern up where it should be for you?

Any other suggestions for a taller front sight? Receiver mounted laser, etc? Red Dot work good for you?

I did make a larger front loop out of some black leather. Factory one sucked and was a little small for my hand...plus sharp melted nylon edges = ouch :confused:

I just got back from the range after installing a OpSol Mini-Clip (turns 5+1 into 8+1:cool:) and the Crimson Trace Lasersaddle on mine. It is the game changer they said it is. For me anyway. I developed some positive feelings for it today.

I put 40 Aguilla Mini-Slugs through it. Still getting a grip, lol, but the slugs cycled perfectly.

Ok Thanks for the info. I've only shot 7 1/2 birdshot , and 2 3/4" Lower Recoil #4 buckshot and #00 buckshot thus far.
