I'm thinking about making the trip down and was thinking that Dillon, SC has some stores just off I95. Didn't know if you guys had a favorite spot or might know of a place with good prices.

Dillon is just across the border, and if it's anything like around my area, the fireworks will be significantly more expensive there than a few more miles into SC.
From here, Blackbeards in Gaffney (the first city across the border from me) is about 2-2.5 times the cost for similar items than just 10 more miles down the road at Poor Pauls in Cowpens. I have seen the exact same item (a 12 shot box, iirc) marked $109 at Blackbeards and $49 at Poor Pauls. The same item at the shop next door was $79.
I'm convinced Daryl has the best prices in the upstate. I haven't been down in a while, but the last time I was, he told me that the changes in I85 were forcing him to move and he would be offloading everything he could for cheap(er) so he wouldnt have to transport it to his new spot.
Not sure on the progress on that, but, I digress. The main point is if you're going to make a trip all that way, go ahead and plan on getting deeper into SC for the better prices. Might as well drive that extra 20 miles or so to save a hundo or better...

Gratuitous firework pic from this past July

ETA: and we do this every year lol

Dude you could have a LOT more CZ's if you focused a little more. All that crap is here and gone. CZ's are forever. :p

You have officially nailed it with your answer @CZfool68 . Good job sir...……...good job.

That is all.

...but I’m not sure if the neighbors would leave anonymous donations in @draco88’s mailbox if he was using the cash for CZs. :p

There's always Shelton's mega store, but it's a little further away.

Where you see frivolity, I see 20-30 people in my yard having a good time.
I see the younguns squealing with joy when I help them light some off.
I see my son learning to think about others when he picks out the ones for his cousins to light.
I see the neighbors on the next road over sitting in chairs in the field between us while their grandkids run and play.
I see my direct neighbors bringing covered dishes to the barbecue and meeting people from the same neighborhood that they've never met before.
I see memories and friends being made.

You may see frivolity, but I see so much more.

Thanks guys. I went to Jabs, but should have gone further. The three hour ride took five hours because of heavy stop and go traffic on 95. What a long ride.
