I don’t need a handgun. Who knew?

#1. If you post another link to such liberal anti-gun bile I'll rub boogers on all of your triggers.
#2. Exactly what were you drinking/smoking/injecting that took you to such a toxic waste receptacle bin of utter stupidity?
#3. I would break down that sorry excuse for a writers inaccuracies, but I think I would be more successful explaining the tax code to my 6 year old. At least my 6 year old would be cute while doing it.
#4. Seriously...I need a shower after dipping my intellect into such a moronic article.

I simply thought others might benefit, as I have, from a completely objective view of why handgun ownership is quite unnecessary. Again, who knew?

Flame Suit On......

I disagree wholeheartedly with the conclusion of the article.

I disagree wholeheartedly with the conclusion of the article (I own many handguns and will buy more).

Have I mentioned that I disagree wholeheartedly with the conclusion of the article????

OK, now for the rest of the story. The underlying fact that children are more likely to injure themselves with a handgun vs. a long gun if they discover it while unsupervised is mostly true. It is simply a matter of barrel length compared to a toddler or small child's arm length, in combination with the tendency of children to pull the trigger with their thumbs to "make it go bang" because their index fingers are often not strong enough, or long enough for many triggers.

That doesn't mean you don't need a handgun. It does mean that if you have kids you need to be aware, and TEACH YOUR KIDS.

TEACH YOUR KIDS.

This statement right here drives liberals insane. Utterly insane. But taking away the curiousity by teaching is the best thing my dad ever taught me.

So glad the constitution isn't based on what these dingdongs think I need. I agree that if you have kids you need to take extra precautions. Wonder if you shouldn't take your child to the range and load one shot of the largest caliber you own and scare the living mahooney out of em.

I havent read it but I would completely agree if the article concluded with the line..."and all these reasons are why we really need no tax stamp on an sbr".

Just kidding but maybe someone will do a parody of it...

Most dangerous things for children in 2017:
1. MV Traffic : 428
2. Drowning: 110
3. Other land transport (4 wheelers, bikes, ect.): 66
4. Fire/burn: 56
6. Poisoning: 39
7. Suffocation: 35
8. Other Transport (boats/planes I assume): 21
9. Fall: 18
10. Firearm: 16

Where is the outrage over poisoning? Gravity? Pools? 4 wheelers? Cars?

Faux outrage is faux...

That's because liberals believe in fantasies. They don't believe anyone should ever need a gun, therefore never have to learn to use a gun, therefore should never be allowed to own a gun.
They also believe that women should never have to defend themselves therefore they should not be allowed to have a gun to defend themselves.

More BS from a medical journal where Doctors kill more thru malpractice a year then my guns. If they were so concerned about childrens safety then there should be more children than those murdered by Plan Parenthood. Where is the outcry for seat belts on school buses?

CD
Over 80,000 per year killed by "medical professionals."

Wait just a cotton pickin’ minute. B00gers all over my triggers is gonna make it difficult to sell all these handguns I don’t need. ;)

I have long said that training and education would go a long way to knock a pillar out from under the anti's and improve things as a whole concerning firearms.

My oldest son is 14 now. I started when he was about 3 . I'd have an unloaded gun out on the bench working on it. Swapping triggers, detail stripping, that sort of thing. No ammo anywhere nearby naturally. He would curiously reach for it and I would correct him. He would stop. Curiosity would kick in again and I would correct him. After I was done working on it, I would reassemble, ensure it was clear and then offer him the opportunity to hold it properly under my supervision with it pointed in a safe direction. Rinse, repeat throughout the years.

When he was about 5 he had a friend over playing. My carry gun was on me, concealed. Everything else was in the safe. The safe was in our room at the back of a large closet. His friend went into our room and into our closet. My son came running to me to tell me "daddy, daddy, he's gonna get your guns." I went and picked the lad up and carried him back to the living room and explained that we don't go in people's closets. I gave my son a big hug and made a big deal out of him doing that.

He's 14 now. I'd trust him more with a gun than I would many adults I've met.

My youngest son is 6 and is on the same path.

Wait... so.... uh, Bill and Ted time here. Uh when you say Booger’s on all his triggers, do you mean actual “boogers” on his triggers, or do you mean “little @B00ger ’s on his triggers?”

I'd say that the guy who wrote that shouldn't have a handgun.
I would wager a Genuine Coney Island Nathan's Famous lunch that author owns at least one pistol, rifle and shotgun.;)

there.

fixed that for you.

Wait, that's awesome! How many kids can I not have? Is there a limit to the not having?
Absolutely not. Not is infinite. :D

Exactly the right path. Did basically the same thing with my daughter. When i would come in from a hunting trip she would see my rifle with the deer on the sling. She always wanted to play with it. I would remove it from the rifle and let her play till she was content. She would even come to me from time to time and asked to see it. I would stop what i was doing get the rifle from the safe and let her have fun. By doing this you satisfy the curiosity and take away the mystery.

Were taking the same approach with my fiancé’s 7 year old. Any time he wants to see a gun we will show him how to handle it carefully. He’s got a cricket .22 and has recently began asking if we can go shoot.

Science has proven you don’t really need a handgun. I carry fairy dust that when thrown in the eyes it makes murderers and rapist become Peter Pan. My city officers will enforce the law after a get stabbed multiple times. Sleep well America with no worries. Unless you live in Charlotte or Durham. Then sleep is eternal.

I’d rather no one had a liberal in their home rather than any firearm, but that’s just me.
