................ This would be it:

Lazereth LM 847

470 hp Maserati V8 Quad tire monster.

I would ride it occasionally. This beast actually handles fairly well for a big bike. It weighs in around 850 lbs dry which isn't too shabby for a 470hp bike.

But I'd sit and gaze at it just like the piece of art that it is more often than riding it.

That's my dream for the day.

Talk about a death trap!!! It looks cool, donā€™t get me wrong, but moving it out of neutral would scare the crap out of me.

Reminds me of the Dodge Tomahawk concept with a Viper engine. 8.3L 500hp 1500lb bike, only 9 ever built.

There was a Chryslerish bike similar to this a few years back and I think it had the V10 viper motor on it. Im pretty sure I would go "splat" on most anything with 2 wheels so I abstain...sure is pretty though!

Kinda reminds me of the bikes with the flathead Ford engine that Honest Charlie used to sell? How many are old enough to remember Honest Charlie? Get your hands up. Higher, I don't see anyone.

850lbs? wow
That is light for all that.

An Indian bagger (Springfield) weighs the same thing. I sat on one at the dealer and about fell off just trying to stand it up from the kickstand. Guess I need to get back to the gym.

(which ain't really gonna happen)

Lol.

I know where y'all are coming from. Actually, the designer of this bike took into consideration all that was wrong with the Tomahawk and made it all work.

Watch how this bike behaves when negotiating curves:

All yours brother, that does nothing for me.
If I were looking into an exotic BIKE, it'd be a fancy (read: extremely rare and new) Ducati or something for that much. At least it'll be able to turn lol

Look normal and go fast:

Look abnormal with no need to go fast:

Ducati? No thanks.

75lbs lighter than an 2017 Goldwing. Twice the wheels and twice the engine, and twice the metal to hold it all together.
Hard to imagine how that is possible!

Don't you have a Vmax? I'd rather have that.

I do.

But that's for going fast. This bike is for staring at.:D

I sold a pristine 27 year old Mustang about 4-5 years ago that was sold again to a disabled guy who can't drive. He'd crank it up and listen to it in his garage, and look at it. He even found me and called to just talk about the car.

I had one of their catalogs.

A company I used to work for 18-20 years ago in Lexington, NC bought most of what Honest Charley's had when they went under way back when, inventory, office furniture, everything. There was some cool old stuff still there, I used to enjoy going out in the warehouse and just looking at it.

Back in the late 1960's and early 1970's a good buddy of mine went to the Nashville Auto Diesel College. Him and some of his classmates would take trips to Honest Charlie's. I had a 1966 Chevelle with several Honest Charlie parts.

Sorry, @Qball for the thread derail.

No apologies. This thread is wide open for any and all cool motor vehicle subjects and stories .

FYI @Geezer A good friend of mine that I went to school with from 2nd grade thru 12th grade, graduated from the Nashville Auto Diesel College and went on to be a salesman, and still is a salesman, for a very large powertrain/drivetrain remanufacturer with whom I used to have an intimate relationship.

If you buy it Iā€™d love to come see the details of the suspension.

I remember Honest Charley, but only as a name and a logo on a catalog. If I remember correctly that flathead bike had only one gear because it had enough torque to start off in what was effectively top gear.
