Bought My First 1911

PLEASE, please, please let me know how it runs. I have the worst luck with 1911's in 9mm, but I want another in 9mm.
My Range Officer in 45acp the way I have it outfitted is arguably my favorite pistol, even compared to my Wilson Combat CQB.

The RO in 9mm is awesome. no regerts.

So, after I posted yesterday, I inserted a mag but it wouldn't go all the way in...felt like it hit something about 3/4 the way in. Could fully insert it only if I pushed the mag release button down. Tried both mags and tried it with and without rounds in it. Took it apart and cleaned it good and still same problem. Called Springfield and they emailed me a shipping label to send it to them to check it out. FedEx will be picking it up Friday. A little disappointed....know stuff happens lol but so far customer service has been top notch.

I have owned 1911s but only in 45 ACP and a 357 Magnum (Coonan, Quasi 1911).

I never tried the 9 mm variety in single or double stack. I have been selling off mine recently, with the exception of my Mars Armament THUG Colt 1911 and Coonan.

They have to be one of the easiest to shoot, and most accurate shooting handguns aside from my revolvers and my CZ pistols.

I’d love to buy that coonan off of you
