I’ve got a buddy in England who has asked me to help him identify a few different rounds of ammo he’s had for several years. There’s one I’m having trouble with, the short gray one in the pics. Anyone have an idea what it is?

google webley ammunition. They made a bunch of short stuff like that but I can't find one that small in diameter - looks to be about 32 cal?

ETA: popped that into Autocad and I'm getting 0.25" bullet diameter and 0.30" case length, 0.26" base and 0.31" rim. If your friend has calipers ask for real measurements?

I am not able to completely remember it but a collector friend had a pistol in metric 6.5x12 rimmed??? I’m not real sure of the 6.5 but it is close to that.

He doesn’t have a better way to measure but here’s what he sent me. Remember it’s a metric tape measure lol.

Here's an updated CAD image attached.

It looks like my last estimate was off a bit. This is a 30 caliber round but I still got nothing as far as IDing it.
