Those are lots of fun. Did one about a year ago myself.

If you don't already have a pair of these you may want to get some. Removes most of the tab material in snap. Just be careful on the larger front tabs and score them a little before you bite them off.

Battery Oaks has a fully equipped machine shop at my disposal.

Well are you done yet? :D
We didn't even get started on it yesterday. Millie was here and we were shooting with her. Hope to get it done one afternoon this week. Billy says it's a piece of cake and should take 15-20 minutes. Counting this one, it will make one that he's done. I'm mean, what could possibly go wrong?

Found some new G48 factory mags on EBay for a reasonable price, considering everyone else on there is scalping them.
And now they're gone. They lasted maybe an hour.

Had couple people promise to drop off some more vz58 magazines and RPD belts yesterday.
Training collection grows. Still looking for a Steyr Aug trigger pack for a down rifle. Wish I could brings all these items home however.

Hahahaha, it sure does. Our Roses in Virginia had trash cans with M1 carbines stuck down in them. Back then, I turned my nose up at them because they weren't the fastest and flat shooting rifle to shoot a groundhog waaaay over yonder. I had no idea what I was missing.

I tried everything I could to get my dad to let me buy one with money I earned working for him.
At 9 or 10 years old I didn't have much pull with management.
Now I buy them for my G-kids so they'll have them when needed.
