Jeff Sessions Confirmed

It will be interesting to see what happens with legal marijuana.

Speaking of hiding, the other day a guy was saying that there are a bunch of illegals living in an apartment building near him. Every do often he likes to set the SSID on his wifi to something like "ICE deportation van" or something similar. Every time he does that, the place empties out.

I used to pick up a WiFi signal named DEA Undercover Van #23. I suspect it was just some wise guy naming his home signal because it was always on and always in the same location, but...

Back to the OP's original subject, things may get a little better in some areas, but Sessions is too much of an enthusiastic proponent of aggressively using asset forfeiture laws without any pretense of due process for me to get too excited.

The best asset forfeiture would be George Soros and his son. Leave the rest of us the he%$ alone.

My wifi is NSA Collection Station-Longview. hehe But I don't really live around folks that are using a lot of wifi.

He's not really a fan of liberty...

Hes different than Holder or Lynch

Fixed that one for ya... I'm still chuckling that people thought he was actually going to "drain the swamp" Not saying the alternative was any better but it's still funny.

When I see a convoy of gator skinners rolling through upstate SC from Louisiana headed for DC, I'll believe it. Not until then.

is there better choices tha Sessions? Yes, but he had to nominate people who will get confirmed.

So we're celebrating a big, intrusive government Republican becoming the high lawyer of the land instead of a big, intrusive government Democrat (but I repeat myself)?

They guy that believes separating you from your property under false pretenses, with no due process is a moral and just action?

The guy that says only evil people smoke marijuana and wants to continue "the Drug War" that has failed every metric imaginable?

The guy that's convinced of the need of the NSA to read every communication of every American without warrant?

The guy who will likely increase federal power grabs in the individual States, further consolidating power in Washington, DC?

The guy who fully endorses the militarization of civilian law enforcement, and the subsequent no-knock SEAL Six wannabe tactics that come with it?

I hate to say it, but too many of you folks have been hoodwinked. A man who wipes his ass with any part of the Constitution wipes his ass with all of it - and Jeff Sessions is just the next pompous, holier-than-thou windbag playing petty tyrant.

The Second is no more safe than the Fourth under Jeff Sessions' watch. The power of the central government is the problem; simply putting another career politician in charge doesn't change that.
