I have carried 2 G43s now since they came out. Please, let me hear from shooters who have Over 1,000 rounds through their Sig 365s. I am Only interested in High Mileage Sig 365s. I realize this will cut down on responses But I run guns Hard. If I am going to make a change it will be a serious matter for me. I need as much info on malfs and daily use as you can give me.
My thought process is simple [as you would imagine from a simpleton] smaller gun more ammo. I have thought about this for some time. Also, keep in mind I have Yet to shoot one!
If you have fired 200 to 500 rounds with No problems, I don't care. Send me some info Please.

I got one, but not enough rounds down the pipe to meet your criteria. So far, it's sweet; no hiccups during my ownership, but it does exhibit the primer drag. Doesn't worry me.

Im at 2200ish documented rounds, born on date of sept 2018. Only one hiccup and i believe it was the round, a aluminum federal round failed to eject. Other than that this gun has been dead reliable, with both factory mags as well as a 12rd mag recommended by @Jeppo and now I wouldn't think of carrying the gun without it. Personally I feel like the 12rd mag gives me much more purchase to grip in a tense situation from concealment. I do not baby my guns, its been dropped in dirt on accident unloaded slide back, been rained on while training with it, so far good to go no issues.

Everyone I let shoot it loves it also fwiw.

Jeppo, can I come by and choot yours? ???

This thread has peaked me interest... tough sell, mind you, but I can compare it to Billys little pocket guns.
Of course. ;)

I’ve been holding off because I hear people talk about the primer drag issue. Is it really an issue?

In the early models probably. The post July of 18 I don’t think so. Mines a September of 18 gun. It has primer drag but hasn’t had a hiccup yet knock on wood

If I can answer any specific questions for you please ask away. I have over 4500 rounds through my 365 and honestly it may be over 5k rounds by now, but after the 4500 mark I have quit paying close attention to how much Ive shot it. I have had ZERO malfunctions. On occasion the slide will fail to lock back on an empty mag, but I would bet my last dollar that's my grip and not the guns fault, but even if it were the guns fault that's not a feature I'm worried about in a pocket gun.

Mine was born on 30 March 2018 so its a fairly early model, it has had primer drag since the first shot and I'm sure if I go shoot it right now every spend case will have primer drag on it, but its just not an issue. The very first time I took it to the range the day after I bought it I ran 500+ rounds through it, no issues at all, and I have carried it every single day since, either in my cargo shorts pocket or IWB, depending on the weather and what Im wearing.

The finish is holding up extremely well, the X-ray night sights are just as bright as they were on day one, and it is just as accurate as it was from the first mag through it. Sig recommends replacing the recoil spring assembly at the 2500 round mark as general maintenance but Im still on my original one and don't plan to change it out any time soon as it still feels about as tight as it did when new. I have 4 of the 12 round mags plus the two 10 round mags that came with it and they all function perfectly.

I am a trigger snob, all of my competition guns have aftermarket trigger kits in them, and I can say the trigger in my 365 is perfect just the way it is. Its very smooth, and light enough to be very shootable but not so light as to be a concern for a carry piece. I have shot 3 matches with it, a couple IDPA's and a steel challenge, and it performed very well.

Not sure if you reload your own ammo but if you do you will enjoy loading for the 365. I haven't met a bullet profile it doesn't feed like a champ and the chamber is very roomy so load length is not an issue. It shoots lead and jacketed equally accurately.

Bottom line for me, its the best pocket gun Ive ever had or shot. I can shoot it faster and more accurately than the others, and as a bonus it carries a bunch more rounds. I was purposely hard on it from the get go, shooting it dirty, dry, getting it real hot doing mag dumps, nothing has made it hiccup yet. My wife and 10yr old son have also put trouble free rounds through it. It does seem to fit my hands extremely well, almost like Sig molded it for me personally, Im certain that helps the shootability for me.

I held one today. The only special appeal is the capacity. If Ruger made the EC9 hold a dozen, I'd rather have two o' them fer the price o' one 365.

I carried an LC9s and before that the LC380. Neither one shot as well as the wee Sig, nor the G43 for me. I loved how skinny the Rugers are, but for me I couldn't put rounds on target with them as well.

I have not shot a 365 but shot a bunch of sub-compact 9's and ended up with the Walther PPS. Does not have the capacity of the 365 but fits my hand. Looking forward to shooting a 365.

It'd be tough to get me off my G26 & that'd likely be for a SR9C. No experience with the Sig, but I wouldn't mind checking one out.

I currently carry a CZ-P07....but conversations like this have me considering branching out.

I have both the Glock 43 and Sig 365. As of this past Saturday the 365 has 950 rounds down range. No malfunctions of any kind to this point. As stated above, I do see signs of primer drag, however I also see the primer drag in my Glock 43 just not as pronounced. The 365 isn't a daily carry for me at this time, however I must admit I have found no reason not to use if as a daily carry other than it doesn't fit my daily life style. Simply meaning I carry carry a Glock 17 for work and the Glock 43 for backup. On off duty days I carry the 365 as primary and the 43 as backup. Honestly consider myself a Glock fan. Tried to find a reason not to like the 365, but to date I'm still looking for that reason. If you are thinking about switching I can't think of a reason why not to go with the 365. Edited; forgot to add how it carries. I carry it in a Stealthgear IWB holster with mag caddie. Once lesson I've learned, if I could reorder the holster I would have gotten a standard IWB holster and separate magazine holder. But that is just the way it fits me. Overall really impressed with the 365 and would defiantly buy another one.

@BatteryOaksBilly Looks like Shield Arms will be releasing their 15rd metal 43X mags this summer and it will be followed by a higher capacity 43 mag. That's good news for us Glock fans if they're reliable.

I could sell my P7 and buy three Sig 365s!
That would be so much work. Photos, listings, bumping, wishing you were closer’s, PM’s, negotiations, permits, meetings in dark alleys...

You could just even-trade that prehistoric pistol for tomorrow’s technology; today. We’re open 24/7. :D

So, all else being close enough to equal, it's mostly about mag capacity, eh?
Exactly right for me...The ALL things being equal. In this case the pendulum swings in the 365"s favor because of SIZE. That's where things become "not equal". If I can carry more in a smaller package, it swings the scales in that direction. Remember, I'll have 2 to buy because of Murphy, not because of capacity. If the new mags for the 43s are The Same Size as the ones in it, all is well. If they are longer, that starts again to make the Sig look even better. We'll see...……...

Brownells has them for $499 with 10% off right now. NGJ coupon code gets you free shipping and 10% off. NC residents pay tax not sure about SC. @BatteryOaksBilly

Thanks Pard. I'm still waiting til I can shoot one. The fact that they have everything I need in a Smaller package is luring me in.

When did Sig start making the Gen 3 P365? I know it is somewhere around Oct of 2018. I assume any build date after Nov 2018 is a Gen 3 gun. Thoughts?

I am considering adding one for summer carry. It gets harder to conceal the EDC-X9 under just a t shirt when it get warm. In the past I have carried a Kahr CW9, Ruger LCP and a Sphinx Subcompact SDP.

Also is anyone pocket carrying this thing or are most people wearing it on the belt?

From what I’ve read anything after June of 18 is good to go. Mines a September build. I’m wearing it appendix with the 12 rd mags. To me it’s just a bit big to pocket carry but some people do. Vedder makes a pocket holster for it.

I have the vedder pocket locker and REALLY wanted to pocket carry this, unfortunately for me its just a bit too big to be practical. Its either a bit big in my pocket and slow to get out, or really small and unnoticeable on my 4oclock, so i go with that 99% of the time. But it is possible and im not a big guy so ymmv.

I really enjoy this guys reviews, and just so happens he just made this one for the 365. 30 min long but full of great info imo and tests. I was very happy to see my edc, a 365 with hornady critical defense, did very well.

Another way to skin the cat that is the P365. Right now Raise is selling Cabela's gift cards for 10% off face value. Cabela's sells these for $499. That means you can get it for $450 + tax from your local Cabelas. You can also stack this with your Cabelas/Bass Pro club card and earn 2% cash back. If you use the promo code BOLT you will get an extra 7% off maximum of $20. So $500 worth of gift certificates for $420.

@BatteryOaksBilly You need to get on that Cabela's deal and tell me how it shoots. LOL
Ima opt for the Jeppo Day Loaner program before I spend $1K and commit to a Big change for me. Inside 10 I am a G43 Kinda Guy. I've got to see if the fractionally smaller 365 is enough Harder to shoot than the G43 to scare me off. From 10 yards and back my performance with the G43s falls off considerably. When I am using full size guns on the week end as opposed to the small ones during the week, I feel like Superman. This is a false sense of "ability" since I Do Not carry these big guns.
I have some Good shooters here. One in particular is our man Doug[ Some of you will remember him as the MP5 Brief Case man]. Even he struggles beyond 10 with his chosen carry..G43.
I struggle with my performance and then try to tell myself ...well we will never have to shoot past 10...until we do. These 2 G43s have served me well, perhaps I should just leave well enough alone.....Not My Nature.
