AR pistol 300 blk. I've seen this with SKS firing pins. This can't be normal.

Floating AR pins dimple the primers just so. I’m assuming they were chambered and extracted without firing and not light strikes. Nothing to worry about

Yep, pretty normal, in ARs.
Slam fires are very rare but can happen.

Yep, normal AR floating firing pin behavior.

Even though they say it is rare, I only use the hard CCI #41 or Federal 205MAR primers.

Thanks, same here. I may have to try something harder; I don't like things dimplin' my primer...
