Posting this for a friend. His ex who does not have custody has taken his kids and robbed his home, please keep your eyes open.

Digest of his posts below

Currently missing, suspected inducted. Please help locate. Attached are pictures of my two boys. They were taken by their biological mother while I was at work. I'm afraid they are in serious danger of harm. Law enforcement will not help. Reward possible if my kids are returned safe. Please help!

Her name is Amy Brown and she's driving a 2012 Black Hyuandai Elantra.
he works at Harris Teeter on Peacehaven and Robinhood. I've notified law enforcement but they won't help. Please share!

If he has legal custody, how is it possible that law enforcement won't help. Isn't that kidnapping?

I'm not sure. He definitely has custody, they reside with him. I don't have kids so I have no idea how this works, sorry.

Sounds like they do not have a custody agreement through the courts. If that is the case they both have a legal right to the kids and whomever has physical custody has custody. How long have they been separated? It honestly sounds like you are not getting the full story.

I unfortunately had this same type of situation happen two weeks ago today. A woman and her child was asleep in the bed the soon to be ex husband and his mother went into the house and took the child while she was asleep. The guy had only left two days prior and had a legal right to be at the house so there was no laws broken. This situation sounds very similar.

Bad situation for everyone involved.Worse for the kids.I pray they are okay and not adversely affected by an adults inability to not be a douchebag.

I'm not sure what paperwork they've done so you may be right.

I would stay far away from this situation man. There are many different legal aspects that have to be looked at to fully understand this kind of situation and he is not giving you all the information.

Yet another reason not to breed.

Thanks for the heads up.

In a more blunt statement: involvement in situations like this can get you killed. Stay away. Very far away. No need for their headaches.

Is law enforcement seeking the child?
Like, if I were to head back into WS proper, as Im fixing to, and saw her and the kid, if I called the law would they come out?
Or no?

Im not getting involved unless LEO is looking for the kid.
I know it sucks for your buddy, but I am not about to get wrapped up in a domestic issue with folks I dont even know.
But if there was an Amber Alert out in this area and I saw them - absolutely.

Law enforcement has no authority to decide which parent should be in custody of their child.

It's not that they won't help, they can't.

Yeah.....that's tough.

As said above, getting involved in a domestic issue is a great way to get yourself hurt.

Legal custody is not physical custody.

If he doesn’t have the latter then not much he can do until it is granted.

Legal custody is just granting him decision making for the kids like health and school. Physical custody is the children being with him.

Once physical custody is granted per whatever their lawyers hash out then it could be kid napping.

I’m going through this and we are all being civil about it..... for now

I hope the kids are OK and this family gets things sorted out so they can have a decent childhood.

Good on you. Kids should never be pawns in an adult's battle.

Thanks man. We both agreed we wouldn't keep the kids from the other. They need both of us in their lives. Yet people find it so weird that me (their father) wants to still be in their lives and a major part in it.

I always respond that i see the end result of not having a father in a child's lives every time I go in to work and will not allow that to happen to my 4.
