About two months ago, my cat Oreo brought one of these into our basement and set it loose. No way I'm letting it back out. Haven't seen any basement worms, camel crickets, centipedes, spiders, etc...... since it's been in the basement.

My wife asked me to go down in the basement and get her a five gallon jug of water this morning. Went down and opened up the closet door where we keep our water, and there he sat, right in the middle of the floor. Fat and happy as could be.

He has access to water so I'm hoping he sticks around. If I can catch a glimpse again, I'll post a pic of the actual lizard.

Those little guys shit you know. They leave me little surprises in my garage. Not sure you want him around long term.

Nothing my shop vac can't handle. My basement is all concrete so no big deal. Rather have lizard shit than the bugs I used to see this time of year.

That's a skink. My front porch is eat up with them- I see several scurry away every time I come out the front door. Between them and the tree frogs, I've never had to spray around the house for bugs.

I'd do anything to keep the skinks and 'fence lizards' around! And the dragonflies and bats too!

Just found a tail of a skink in my basement...looks as though one of the cats got it to some degree.
