Purchased a P365 in Dec 2018, hundreds of flawless rounds - great gun (IMHO). Fast forward to March 2019, picked up a 320X Carry. Again, hundreds of flawless rounds, super accurate. love the flat trigger. Went to the Sig site and of course the flat P365 trigger is sold out. Called Sig, asked about backorder and was told 'we have a few in the Pro Shop, send in the firearm and we will install - for free'. Got the RMA, sent the P365 on Sat, they received it on Monday. Here is the surprise: Monday evening received an email from Sig that they are sending my firearm back - I'll get it Weds. Of course I figured I did something wrong - why would it be coming back so soon. Called Sig Tues AM and was told, 'our new goal is less than 24 hour turnaround time'. Received the firearm on Weds - trigger looks and feels great. Outstanding service.

@behindyou
Other than being flat, is there any difference in the trigger function? I played with a XCarry at a store and loved the trigger.

Same experience, sent in a P229 police trade, not red label, would not fire unless I pushed down on decocker lever.
Got it back three days later including shipping time. They replaced the seer and the trigger bar no charge, I just paid the shipping fee.

Sig sent me an extractor free, and pretty quick. They wanted me to send the gun to them, but said, ok, we'll send the part to you. They were very nice!

(A nice young man at the range put it in for me in about 2 minutes, ta-da!)

I attended a pistol course at SigArms Academy (great course, well worth a weekend). The indoor range is on the other side of a wall from the Pro Shop. My reliable as clockwork 226 had a few hiccups. Around the wall. Diagnosis was insufficient lube. They got that puppy wet. Ran flawlessly the reminder of the weekend.

At the end of the course, they came around and told me to leave it with them. New Nitron finish on the slide and new trijicon sights front and rear. They were about ten years old.

$100!

I now have a P320CRX, Tango4 6-24 and a Kilo2400ABS. Happy camper with Sig.

The 320X Carry was my first striker fired firearm, so other than my P220s not much to compare to. Does have a good feel, grip fits me well, smooth trigger, zero recoil, IMHO. For me, it’s a great intro to striker fired firearms.

I was wondering what differences the new trigger made to the P365.

I have had nothing but great luck with Sig and their customer support. Sig even sends me business. When people need replacement UIDs for their Mk25’s or M11-A1’s, they send them to me.

Sig has had plenty of practice to perfect their service department so I would expect nothing less. Although 24hr turnaround is pretty remarkable with how flooded I imagine that department is.....

LOL, yes they have a long history, Sig does. Looks like they’ve righted the ship though with quick response to their issues.

If you don’t mind me asking, what was the total cost with shipping and everything? I’ve been thinking about the flat trigger upgrade for a while now. Really like my 365 just the way it is, but then again I REALLY like the flat trigger in my 320 X5 too.

Ha!

But I love CZ and HK’s service departments since I’ve never had to use them. :p

Total out the door - round trip - out of pocket cost...$49.00. Surprised the heck out of me too.

Holy crap that’s cheap. If I do this I wonder if they would give mine a little tune up since I’ve got over 5,000 rounds through it.

Then again it runs perfectly, maybe I need to leave well enough alone.

FYI, range time with the 365 and the new flat trigger. IMHO, and with my grip/control...made a huge difference in accuracy. I had a problem with shooting right (I'm lefty - facing the target), which indicates poor finger placement. The flat surface made it easier to get a consistent finger placement and the result was more hits in the center ring and bull (15 feet, indoor range). Obviously, I'm an N=1, but it was worth the money. I also noticed better accuracy with the flat trigger on my 320X Carry.

Thanks for sharing. I’m envious. ;)

Upon further review the flat trigger is priced at $49.95 on Sig’s website (still out of stock). The fact you got the trigger, professional install, and round trip fast shipping for the price of the trigger just blows me away. Makes me think somebody at Sig goofed on the billing.

Glad the trigger has made it a better shooter for you. I’m a big fan of flat triggers. Might just have to call Sig tomorrow am and see if the pro shop has any more in stock.

When you buy from a great quality company you don’t need to praise their service department. You don’t use it.

They only time I've had to use them was for a barrel install on a P220. The factory threaded barrel was not a drop in and needed to be fitted. I don't recall the cost but it was reasonable and quick.

I've also used HK USA service on my MR762 due to an undersized gas port. They also pulled the factory brake off while it was in the shop for free so I could install the G28 flash hider.
