What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

Put down a deposit to get a .22 rifle re-lined.
Ordered 2 more magazines for the R51 since I’ve decided to keep it.

I got 3 targets at the range and 2 boxes of different brands of 9mm in 124 grains for the 1911 to try tomorrow. (I gave it 3 boxes of Fiocchi 115 grain today, had 3 ftf.)
Then I hit Defender Ammo and got their brand of 9mm in the 147 grain. Then I went by to see Phil at Mid South and got yet another box of 9mm in their "champagne" line, also 147 grain. Got a variety for the RIA to try tomorrow.

Also got a box of .45 for the other 1911, and it had a failure to fire, my first experience with that.

All in all, not a brilliant day for me, gun-wise. LOL.

New Paske polymer MLOK handguard for CZ Scorpion, exactly what I’ve been waiting for, for probably 2.5yr.

Had a nice little surprise of probably 1/2oz of loctite on the barrel nut. A brass brush took care of that well.

I bought 4 targets and a box on .380 for the Sig.
Not a lot else to report.

You're missing 1 through 11.
Nope...

They came with a pair of scissors and instructions illustrating the number of coils to cut from the 12 pounder in order to achieve 1 to 11.

Got four MTM large ammo cases on Amazon promo before they sold out.

Those belong in two separate posts so I can like one of 'em. :D

Ima 29-2 and older kinda buyer. Got one this week. Pre'82 for me.
You need a 29-4 to go with that.

I really liked the one I had. :(
The other day, I watched a woman and her son wheel a suitcase full'a handguns into a LGS. They walked out very happy with $1,000 in cash. A couple days later, ONE of those guns (29-3, 8 3/4") was in the case marked at $900. o_O

Two of those guns have now been sold. So far, they’ve taken in nearly double what they paid for the entire suitcase-full. This is precisely why I don’t want my wife and daughter to have this same experience with my accumulation of guns.

Well, Bubba got to work last night...

I wanted the lightest trigger possible so I decided to go with 1 pound. As mentioned, the instructions illustrated how many coils to cut but that seemed like too much work to me. So, I resorted to Google and came upon a much simpler solution.

It seems you can install the 12# spring backwards, followed by the 13# in the proper direction and you get 13 - 12 = 1 pound. It was a bitch getting both springs in but I can’t wait to get the gun out to the range. :D

You should have invited them over to your place for coffee and cash ;)
