I was actually feeling that pain yesterday. Went by a couple of the shops/ranges and it seems to be plenty of quality options. Any suggestions?

Indoor or outdoor?

Indoor:
I don't go to indoor ranges unless I'm traveling. There's one in Matthews, south of you. Sorry but I'm not much help here.

Outdoor:
I belong to Roan County Wildlife (RCWA). I think membership is waitlisted.

There is also Piedmont Handgun (PSA). I've shot matches there, nice. I'm sure there's some members here that can describe the club.

Www.phashoots.net it’s a bit north of you but is not waitlisted currently and has a lot to offer for the $. 22lr range, shotgun 5 stand, 50/100 rifle range, 100/200 rifle range, several pistol bays with steel plate racks and such and 5 tactical bays where you bring your own targets.

I’m a member at PHA and live slightly further than you will be. It’s about a 45-50 min drive. You make a half day out of it and it’s perfect.
